“Would stay there again”
The hotel staff was freindly and quick to respond to your requests. the room was large, comfortable and clean. the location was wonderful, close enough to everything but far enough away from Paceville (the local young hangout). St julians was a great city and the vivaldi hotel was a great place to stay.
“Should be last option in Malta.”
They did not give me room with double bed as I paid for, instead I got two small uncomfortable beds. WiFi did not work the first day, it wasn't fixed until noon next day, when their IT guy came by. Receptionist was extremely arrogant and I was told my room was upgraded and internet didn't work for me, because of my settings. I asked to be downgraded back to what I paid for, and she just smiled. Room was large, but absolutely nothing in the room except a small TV and a hair dryer. No balcony. Breakfast was terrible, juice and coffee maschines were rarely refilled. Hotel very much run down and not enough spend on maintaining it. There are so many much nicer places in the area that offer better value.
“Just ok. Don't bother with the Gym, Sauna”
The only negative thing that sticks in my mind is a trip to the Gym. Personnel could not be found on serveral occations. They did not bother turning on the Sauna or Steam rooms. You had to make an appointment for them. Food was good at breakfast. No shopping close to the hotel.
“not a bad place to stay for a couple of days, but not for longer”
this hotel is average, apart from the price and the star rating does not reflect the hotel in any way as this property is stuck in an 1980@s time-warp check in was robotic and the staff appeared more interested in their own personal conversations than the arriving guest breakfast was good but the dinner was not. the dinner buffet is only good for the lovely fresh salad bar and desserts. the hot food is the worst i have been served in many years and i do not exaggerate. all food was overcooked, the chicken was so hard it was not chewable and the general standard was below that of a hospital or public school. I would recommend that you eat out. an average hotel with above average prices, but acceptable for a couple of nights for business. if was there on holiday i am afraid that i would have been very unhappy
“Weekend a Malta”
“Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel in St Julian - good to relax and visit surroundings”
Very comfortable and rich of amenities: pool on the roof and in the wellness center. Beautiful sea view from the breakfast room/restaurant. Bus stop easily reacheable, but if you are 3/4 people you can share a private taxi not spending so much.
