I wanted somewhere nice and quiet with a view. That is exactly what I got. First night someone woke me up, but as soon as I told the staff at the reception they have sorted it out and there were no noise afterwards. Staff at SPA are extremley welcoming and lovely. The girls are fantastic, especially Tatjana and Victoria. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. I was glad I did not go all inclusive as managed to go out in the evening to eat at different place every time. Its only a short walk to the centar and the view was amazing. I would like to return again, already been recommending this place to all my family and friends.
Have visited Malta many times and this was the first time staying at the Dragonara. Beautiful location with sweeping water views and great facilities. Rooms are large with nice balconies and the hotel is in walking distance to great restaurants and also the Casino. Would definitely stay there again.
Missus was concerned given the price that we had paid. However her nerves subsided upon arrival where we were greeted with a smile and excellent service. Hotel was better than expected, clean, tidy and modern.
Location was superb. Up a quiet street off a main and convenient location in St Julians. The bus stopped down the end of our street so it was easy to get around. Plenty of places to eat and drink in the surrounding area with a convenience store also within convenient distance!!
Breakfast was good. Despite the fact it states 'continental' a cooked breakfast is on offer (buffet style) whilst you can also get a fresh omlette to order.
This lovely newly renovated Palazzo, has a small number of suites providing potential for a hideaway retreat from the large hotels of Malta. Our suite (Prince Charles) was roomy and had an outside terrace. Palazzo Capua is now owned by The Palace Hotel (a five minute walk away for breakfast) and the taxi needs to leave you there to check in. Unfortunately, the management, whilst very polite, have designed their rooms without any thought to their paying guests. There's a kettle but you'll need to put it on the floor to use it as the flex is too short to reach the socket, a phone that can't get an outside line or call the hotel reception, a trouser press that you'll need to carry around the room to plug in, an en suite you'll need to walk down some precarious steel steps to get to in the middle of the night, a bathroom door that doesn't actually close as the catch has been fitted upside down and two large TVs for which you'll have to share a remote control with the suite next door. If you want extra towels or your bed making with a blanket, be prepared to ask every single day of your stay as just because its provided today, doesn't mean you can have it tomorrow. And if you want a light bulb for the bedside light, be prepared to wait 8 hours and complain to the manager. If all this sounds like more work that you intend on your holiday, you might consider a different venue - we certainly would.
My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and just loved it! It was right in the centre of the club district, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families or for people who want to sleep early, as there's a lot of noise from the clubs! However, if you've come to party and have fun, then this is the best spot to be! Regardless of going out at night, this hotel is in the middle of everything and is very convenient! St. Julians bay is a 5 min walk away and the bus stops are all a couple minutes away as well! There are tons of restaurants and shops surrounding the hotel!! And the hotel staff was VERY friendly and gave us a lot of information about sights to see and what to do and where to go! I would definitely come back to this hotel!!

Room spacious and clean, however it was not clearly stated in the description that the free wifi and the air conditioning only applied in the reception area. The room only had a rather inadequate ceiling fan. Also there was no mention that there is a 50 euro deposit for the room key. A room safe could be hired as also could an extra fan but these had a deposit of 10 euros apiece and a daily charge, meaning your funds are 70 euros down instantly if you want security and comfort on your holiday.
"A very nice hotel, sea view location. Good service"
I went to Malta to have some R&R, hotel is on a nice, quiet, beautiful location. Sea view balcony. My experience was just as I required, 4 nights of peaceful, tranquil moments. Staffs were professional and smiley.
