Pros: Good location close to a main bus stop, ferries to Comino and Gozo. Easy to find. Food excellent. Booking easy. Good views of sunset.
Cons: Drinking water more available at mealtimes

This was the first time we did a package deal and it didn't feel like we were in the middle of a massive hotel/party.

We are positive about helpful hotel staff, all inclusive variety (compared to e.g. Turkish resorts). WIFI was reliable, but slow (15-20 KB/s).

Nice place to stay if you......like a holiday camp

Pros: Out of the way, great pools inside and out, close to Gozo trips and public transport.
Cons: Better way of than wrist bands, change of menu for breakfast each day include some local fare.Info on local events like easter parades, srawberry fair
Location: Gozo of course, paddle boats, popeye world in season snorkelling and dives.
Not sure what to expect when wrist bands are clamped on you for the duration of your stay. Other guests embarisingly rude to staff perhaps it may have something to do with the level of booze in their package! Great location well serviced by local transport and good facilities. Has a coin laundry which is a rare find and Staff very accomodating if you are not rude and demanding, Food hit and miss but most days good.alternatives are only a bus ride away. Tourist info a bit hard to find as most guests stay in the hotel all day.

I really had a good time I have to cut my holiday short because my mum when sik so I came home 72 hours after I tel the easy jet about it I have to pay extra £122 for another booking I didn't like that

A disappointing Hotel. Bland room, food, drinks and service. A long distance from anywhere which requires faith in the death-defying bus service. Would not recommend it to anyone.

I liked my stay at the hotel, everything was fine, except the swimming pool (outside) toilet, it's in bad condition, I felt it a pity to lower your standards on such a small thing

Perfect hotel for a perfectly relaxing holiday!

Right by the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, all-inc (including cocktails by the pool), squash court, range of restaurants, 200m walk to water sport activites, and a boat directly outside the hotel to take you to Blue Lagoon... what more could you want?! We stayed for a week and absolutely loved every minute of it. Thank you very much Riviera.

Location: Great location for Ferries to Comino and Gozo, local buses and walking.
Just visited at the end of June 2013 as a couple on a one week late booking break. The first thing to say is that we had a really lovely time and the location of the Hotel is superb for Walking and the local buses and ferries. The majority of bar the staff Karen and Milrna in particular were exceedingly pleasant, Joe however was very dour to say the least; the food was very good if a bit limited for my vegetarian partner, and the Pizza's were great, and the restaurants were very clean.. The rooms are a bit tired but still ok. The reception staff Hearman in particular however were not very informative or well informed, for instance we had to ask about beach towels and were told they were available from the spa, no one told us we had to pay €5 deposit so we had to go back to the room to get the money, airport bus timetables from a stop 200 metres away were not known, TV channels were not known, no information on booking 'a la carte' or what was available at 'Hola beach' was readily available, we were also asked for our Hotel Booking voucher on check in which having booked through Expedia we didn't have, this took a few minutes to get over A little more enthusiasm from reception would have gone a long way, but it didn't in any way spoil our stay.

Great Hotel in a good location

Pros: Animation team were great, as was the lady serving behind the main bar.
Cons: a la carte restaurant needs a complete rethink.
Location: Location could seem remote to some people but there are good public transport links to all parts of the island and very close to ferry for Gozo.
We arranged a transfer from the airport by coach and having seen some of the hotels on the way to ours we were wondering what we had let ourselves in for. However, I can't tell you what a delight it was to see our Hotel for the first time and how relieved we were when we got there. It's position, overlooking the sea, quiet location was superb, for those who are looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of towns or busy seaside resorts. Checking in was efficient and friendly and we were quickly shown to our room, which was clean and tidy. There was a good selection of food in the buffet restaurant but don't expect too much variety over your stay. The hotel has three restaurants, the buffet, a pizza place, and?? well they think the a la carte one is a bit posh because they make a big thing about limiting the number of bookings to 20, on a first come first serve basis, and you have to get down with the early birds for breakfast to stand any chance of getting a table. However, my advice is stay in bed and don't bother. We managed to get a table on our last night and I was served up raw chicken smothered in a tomato paste, from a jar, with a big dollop of melted cheese on top and lots of chips. My partner had fish, smothered in the same sauce and even more chips. Ok, we sent the raw chicken back & they gave us a small bottle of wine but the meal was like something out of Ramsey's kitchen nightmares.Despite this, we were very happy with the hotel overall.
