"Could of been Great!"
The hotel is very close to the airport. They pick up and drop you, which is nice. The hotel is somewhat run down. Nicely decorated, but over-worn. It has beautiful outdoors, which I did not get to experience. The architecture is awesome. If they maintained this hotel better, it would be a 5 star hotel. My room, was OK, it had great windows, the walls were in a very bad need of painting. The air conditioning unit worked until 3 am in the morning. I only stayed a night. Lucky for me, I was on the 2nd floor, it was raining and a nice breeze was flowing through, I opened the great big colonial windows, that look more like huge doors and was able to sleep to the sounds of nature which I like. Now their restaurant is awesome, the food, the wine and the desserts Oh Lord, pasta has been ruined forever for me, because it was sooo delicious that I know I would never have it in the same manner again. Included breakfast, not so much... The TV in the room, is one of the 1980's small screen, which was alright because I did not care for it. The staff is not extremely friendly, but they were not nasty either. At some point I thought It was operated by one person alone. The person, picked me up at the airport, carried my luggage, checked me in and make reservations for dinner. The shower door was so tiny that I had to enter side ways. This is typical for most low cost hotels, this was not that expensive, but it was not cheap either. The room was spacious.
