“Lovely hotel but too many noisy children”
This was a lovely hotel and the breakfast was wonderful. The only problem was that there were children in the lobby making a lot of unpleasant noise while we were having dinner. This went on for about half an hour. The hotel staff could have politely asked them to be quieter.
“Our second visit”
This was our second visit to Malmo and our second stay at the Scandic City. Our room was well appointed and maintained despite the safe not working when we arrived. This was soon rectified but sadly the broken bicycle wasn't repaired, so we were unable to use them on this visit. Also the free internet and one lift were out of action the day before we left. Having said all of this we enjoyed our stay with good quality and choice of breakfast together with helpful and friendly hotel staff. We will return on our next visit to Malmo
“Excelent we will return”
The hotel offered good value ,an ideal location, pleasant and helpful staff; a very friendly environment. The breakfast was excellent with a varied choice. The use of the free bicycles was an added bonus for us enabling us to see much more of the city, parks, docklands, canal, beaches and so much more.
“Scandic is a wonderful hotel!”
This hotel was absolutely wonderful and highly recommended. Our room was apartment-like with a kitchen, dining table and a corner view. Located a convenient walk to everything (shops, restaurants). They provided a great playpen/crib for our child and the sofa also converted into a bed. Great breakfast was served everyday until 10am. Would definitely stay again. Only very minor complaint was that the main bed was 2 put together so it sometimes split apart.
“A fabulous stay”
The Sandic Malmo was probably the best hotel experience we had in Europe. The room was relatively spacious, the bed was comfortable, the TV was big and easy to see, and the view was beautiful. We took advantage of the free bikes and biked all around the city. The breakfast was the largest buffet we'd had with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and crepes, on top of the usual meat and cheese platters and breads. The free wifi worked well and there was also a computer downstairs that anyone could use, which is always a nice touch. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to go back!!
“Absolutely superb!!! 5*”
The hotel was perfect. Excellent and warm staff, always eager to help with a smile. I got ripped off by a taxi driver, and the manager + staff took the matter on themselves and got me the refund! The rooms are clean and spacious. The location was central. This is definitely a place for families with kids!
“Good for families”
Big rooms with facilities (like a little kitchen); alright buffet breakfast continent style but can get very full. Parking is a problem, either pay for the adjacent Parking (~16 Euro per day) or park a bit further away in residential area.
“Good Value for Family”
We are a family of 4 and found this hotel very comfortable and convenient. The room was very large and even had a fridge that worked unlike some of our other hotel stays in Sweden. It was well located near the main shopping and eating streets and is an easy 10 min walk to Malmo C station
“Probably Malmos' best for the money”
This centrally located hotel was awesome. Everything is modern and very scandinavian inside. We stayed here with two families and the hotel is set-up very nicely. It was the nicest and chepest hotel we stayed in throughout our vacation.
“Super Lage, große Zimmer”
Großzügige Zimmer mit Küchenzeile, alles neu, sauber und angenehm. Die Lage ist prima, die Innenstadt beginnt um die Ecke, alles fußläufig erreichbar. Jederzeit wieder!
