“Great location, in the heart of a everything!”

Just blocks away from the central station it was the perfect hotel for a weekend in Malmo. It's surrounded by a mix of historic Swedish architecture and modern buildings with plenty of shopping ranging from global brands to awesome local designers. The hotel itself is cozy, quiet and really clean with great views of the shopping streets and minutes away from dozens of local restaurants that all offer really good food and inexpensive prices in comparison to its neighbor, Copenhagen - and close to the few bars in the heart of the city which is perfect when you're new to the city and want to make it back to your hotel! The city itself is relatively safe but I'd recommend staying within the center during the nights, since it's where the action is and the head out to the south during the summer days!

“I will return”

The Hotel is very clean and the staff during the day are helpful and polite, the night staff was quite stern but polite, at least he was in the morning before the day staff came on duty, so I suppose he was allowed to be. I had a single room which was small but adequate, TV had about 12 channels many of which were in English. The breakfast was really good with a large cold buffett and a substantial hot buffett, there was a large selection of breads, fruit and juices, as well as coffee and tea. It is set right in the heart of Malmõ but it was not noisy in my room. All in all I would recomend it and I will go again next year.

“Fantastic Location”

This hotel is in a beautiful historic building right in the middle of scenic Malmo. Everythin you would want to see is within easy walking distance. About 5 min walk from the train station (easy day trips to Copenhagen).

Hotellet ligger centralt i Malmö's gamla stan. Trevlig reception som hjälpte göra besöket mera personligt, sköna sängar, fin antik stil i hotellet, delicious breakfast accomodating a variety of eating styles, gång avstånd till central stationen, men lite högt ljud på helgen på kvällen utanför fönstret.

Het hotel Baltzar is al wat ouder maar uitstekend onderhouden. Kamers wat aan de kleine kant. Ligging in het centrum van de Gamla Stan van Malmo, wat een prima plek is voor uit eten gaan of een terrasje te pakken. Tevens een goed uitgangspunt voor tripjes in de omgeving. Aan te raden zijn bijv. Lund, Ystad, Simrishamn. Prima voor wandelingen en autotochtjes om de vele kleine stadjes met hun mooie kerken, burchten en overige oudheden als de Ales Stenar te bezoeken.

Gemütliches Hotel in Altbau, mitten im Zentrum von Malmö's Fussgängerzone. Gemütlich eingerichtet. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Gratis Internetstation. Moderne Flachbild-Fernseher aber leider nur etwa 8 Sendern. Die meisten aus Schweden, 1 Dänischer und 1 Englischer.
