“Worth Staying”
This holtel extended the stay period to 6.00 pm on the Sunday, the day of departure.

I have stayed here several times, friendly reception service, great breakfast, perfect location opposite Central Station, close to main squares/shops, & reasonably priced.
“Great location for exploring town and traveling by train”
I stayed at the Elite Hotel residens in Malmo for 4 nights in July-Aug. I chose it for the location, it is right across the street from Malmo central station as I had to take the train everyday during this trip. Out of the many elite hotels I stayed at in Sweden this one is about average: guest room and bathrooms are good size for city hotels, slightly old but functioning. beds are good, and breakfast was the best part. It looked like a small buffet but they had everything. for free WiFi you need to get a login ticket at front desk, each ticket gives you 3hrs of access. Normally it wouldn't be a problem with noise because the windows are thick and solid in Sweden but AC is a rare thing there. With the unusually warm days I had to keep the windows wide open all the time. It got noisy but I understand it is not the hotel's fault. I would stay there again, perhaps during cooler days. There are a few other hotels nearby and this one beats them (especially the Savoy), IMO.
“Memorable Malmo”
It was located close to the train station, pubs, restaurants and tourist attractions. The rooms were tasteully decorated with ample storage space. Breakfast was excellent with lots of varety .

They had some bikes that we borrowed to ride around town. Great experience overall!

Wir haben 5 Nächte im Elite Hotel Residens in Malmö verbracht. Das Hotel liegt an einer Seitengasse und einer Hauptstraße in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bahnhof und ca. 10 Gehminuten vom Marktplatz entfernt. Das Zimmer war 4-Sterne entsprechend gut ausgestattet. Leider verfügte unser Zimmer über keine Klimaanlage, d. h. nachts schlafen bei offenem Fenster. Jetzt kommt der Bahnhof und die Hauptstraße wieder ins Spiel. Es ist bis spät in die Nacht immer Laut gewesen, so dass wir keine Nacht durchschlafen konnten. Es empfiehlt sich ein Zimmer zum Innenhof zu buchen. Das Frühstücksbüffett empfanden wir, als eher langweilig und wenig abwechslungsreich, das Mindestmaß. Die Rezeption war nett, konnte bei Problemen weiterhelfen, als Gast füllte man sich aber oft nicht wahrgenommen (beim Kommen&Gehen, Guten-Morgen-Gruß, es wurde eigentlich immer telefoniert).
