1 minute walk to sea from hotel rear.great views. The blue burger was the best burger I have ever had, compliments to the chef.not a huge selection on buffet but the quality of the food compensates for this.modern contemporary suits it well.
Pros: location, front desk service, cabs/bus very easy to get to Palma. Can jump right into sea from a dock. Great restaurants to walk to. Pool in hotel room. Room smell, supermarket 5 minute walk.
Cons: no coffee in room (5 euro per cup if you want to pay downstairs with no take away), no iron in room, generally pricey (140 euro for one hour massage, 60 euro lunch for two people)
Great place, fantastic staff, very good food. But really if you would like to have a beach holidays go somewhere else. I have been here with my 2 year old son and "beach" was too small for him.
There are nice pools and good swimmers can go to swim to sea.
i would have been very disappointed had i not had our friends hotel to use during the day time. The swimming pool is very small with only a handful of sun beds - None of which in the 5 days we stayed were available as people were reserving them by leaving their towels on them.
Generally very good and pleasant stay. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and very good service. There was a problem with wi-fi in the room which they quickly solved by moving us to an alternative room. Actually room is the wrong word, each is a suite with lounge and 3 piece settee. It was a very comfortable and relaxing environment. We ate very high quality food from the a la carte menu, highly recommended. The tennis courts were not in very good condition and bring your own racket if you want to play (racket grips on the hotel's rackets were destroyed). I agree with the comments it is probably 4+ rather than a 5 star hotel due to these minor things. However, overall a very enjoyable and pleasant stay helped by the excellent and very helpful staff.
aPPARENTLY THIS WAS ONE OF THE FIRST RIU HOTELS BUILT AND IT SHOWS, VERY TIRED DECOR NEEDS TOTAL REFURBISHMENT. ALL INCLUISVE DEAL OK BUT ALCOHOLIC DRINKS POOR QUALITY AND SELECTION AND WINE NOT GOOD AT ALL. NO TEA OR COFFEE MAKING FACILITIES IN ROOM. AIR CONDITIONING VERY NOISY. ENTERTAINMENT POOR QUALITY. IT IS NOT A BAD DEAL IF YOU GET OUT OF SEASON TARIFF. NOT MUCH FOR CHILDREN TO DO.
Had an excellent time. This was a return visit as we came last September and enjoyed it so much that we booked for this year. Couldn't fault anything about the hotel, location, staff and dining. We loved it so much that we ate at the hotel every evening. Good place to chill out. Requires a car if you want to eat elsewhere in the evening. Great place for walking, cycling, horse riding or simply just relaxing at the pool or spa. We will be booking again next year.
