“Loved it!”

The Viva Blue hotel was wonderful. Their rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean. The staff there did all they could to make sure your stay was a pleasant and enjoyable one. There are only 2 things that "bothered" me, per say. One was that they did not have an iron available when you needed one. You have to call the front desk for them to hunt you one down. The other thing is, we went in April; not too hot...not too cold. Our room was a bit warm and we wanted to turn on the AC; however, since it was not the season, they did not have it "on." So basically, we needed to open the windows are doors to air out the room and be able to sleep comfortable. Other than that, we loved every minute of it! If your vacation is more for the children, this is the place for them. Very kid friendly! My kids ask me when are we going back!

“Good development, conveniently located.”

Viva Blue is an attractive complex, and good value for the price we paid. We visited in early April and outside pool very cold, but indoor pool also available. Entertainment had not really started so can't comment on that. The whole complex was extremely clean, with cleaning crews in constant action. The immediate vicinity (main road, shops etc.) is not the best but surrounding area- including Alcudia and Polenca are attractive and worth visiting. Majorca generally has also greatly improved over past 10 years. We are planning on going back to Mallorca soon and would definitely consider Viva Blue again.

Area recommendations
Alcudia, Polenca, Soller, Port Soller. Various reasons but all very interesting and charming in their own way.

“Super Hotel für Familien mit Kinder (in der Nebensaison)”

Schöne Hotelanlage mit vielen Möglichkeiten für Familien und Kinder. Lediglich das kalte Wasser im Pool (Mitte Oktober 2011 - das Mittelmeer war wärmer!) und die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer sind kritikwürdig.

Mitte Oktober 2011 war noch super Badewetter (bis zu 30 Grad - Das Wasser gefühlte 24 Grad)
Getting around
Man braucht ein Auto, wenn mehr als nur Hotel-/Badeurlaub machen will.
Shopping
Viele Supermärkte, Restaurants, Auto-/Fahrradverleihe in Laufnähe vorhanden (letzteres auch direkt im Hotel möglich).
Outdoors or beach
Kinderfreundlicher Strand, d.h. viel Sand und flaches Wasser mit nicht allzuhohen Wellen.

“Familienurlaub”

Ambiente, Anlage, Kinderfreundlichkeit und Morgenbüffet sehr gut! Ideale Strand und Poolanlage, super Apartemente mit Kochnische. Einzige Wermutstropfen: Essen ist primär international, keine spanischen Spezialitäten, "Tiramisu" ist nicht geniessbar (hätte es halt nicht in Spanien bestellen sollen...) Abendunterhaltung: naja, wems gefällt, das Animationtionsteam bemüht sich...

“Hotel liegt an einer Straße”

Sehr ungepflegt, alles nur oberflächlich, schimmlige Bäder, schmutzige Zimmer.....einfach nicht zu empfehlen und vor allem keine 4 Sterne!!!!!!!! Uns würde interessieren wer die Sterne vergibt und nach welchen Kriterien.

“Excellent hotel.”

Excellent hotel, séjour en famille avec 2 enfants, très belles piscines, personnel très aimable, repas variés et bons, hotel propre, trés beau, chambre spacieuse et confortable. Pas de points négatifs.

“Für Urlauber, die keine Touristenburgen mögen”

Wir haben unseren 3-Tägigen Kurzurlaub mit zwei Kindern (7 und 1) sehr genossen. Kleine Anfangsschwierigkeiten mit dem gestellten Reisebett wurden sofort und kompetent behoben. Hervorzuheben ist das sehr gute Essen. Dieses Buffet förderte nicht gerade die schlanke Linie. Wir konnten mit dem Essen einfach nicht aufhören, auch die Kleinen. Die Betten waren etwas gewöhnungsbedüftig, was aber in südlichen Ländern normal ist und die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig. Alles in allem aber ein gelungener Urlaub und ein guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebeung.

“Gerne wieder”

Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Hotel für Familien. Nettes Personal, gutes Essen, Unterhaltungsprogramm nicht aufdringlich. Der Ort an sich hat keinen besonderen Charme. Ein Hotel am anderen, dafür aber sehr nah am Strand und guter Ausgangspunkt in Richtung Berge.
