“Good Choice”

The hotel is a little walk into the centre of things in Palma but is very close to a lovely marina area with a few cafe's. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but had all the essential elements including fresh fruit. The shape of the hotel does mean that in rooms facing the swimming pool there can be an issue with noise in the evenings if the balcony doors are open. There is aircon though so it isnt essential to have these doors open at night. The hotel was always busy and is used by atleast one airline for night stopping its cabin crew. I would certainly reccommend the hotel.

“Very good value”

Very comfortable hotel with good facilities, pools, large indoor an outdoor social areas. Relaxed Breakfast with lots of choice.15 min walk to centre and loads of good local bar/tapas places en route. Friendly, helpful staff.

“Our 4th visit in 4 years”

Hotel seems to be aimed at primarily the business community catering extensively for Air Berlin Flight Crew. The fact that they have been using this hotel for at least 4 years sets your mind at rest regarding the standard of cleanliness & service etc. Discerning tourists seem to make up the rest of the clientele. The staff are very friendly & appear to be loyal to their company. The prices at the bar are excellent way below what you would pay in the surrounding tourist bars. Breakfast is extensive covering all tastes. The centre of Palma is 20 minute stroll along the front but is well connected by an excellent bus service with a Taxi rank approx 100metres from hotel. Overall I would recomend this hotel as a good base to explore Palma & the rest of Mallorca. Looking forward to going back.

“Cheap and cheerful”

The Tryp Bosque hotel was reasonable price for good service and a comfortable room. The resturant serves local food, but is mostly empty. Guests tend to eat in the bar area and outside. Recommended

“Worth the walk into Palma!”

We found the Tryp Bosque to be the ideal base from which to explore Palma. The hotel itself far exceeded my expectations, given the low price. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable; our room was a good size, with a balcony overlooking the pool. It's a pleasant walk of about 30 minutes to the city centre, but there's a bus stop nearby too. There are several very good restaurants within steps of the hotel (we asked at reception for recommendations on the first night, then found several others ourselves after that), as well as friendly bars which serve a good breakfast.

“Will go back”

I enjoyed my short stay at this hotel. The location was good for shopping and it was near the port. Taxi from city centre to hotel was about 6 euros. Enjoyed the open top bus tour, but it did get busy and sometimes had a long wait between buses. At the hotel the staff were all very helpful and friendly. Location felt safe. Hotel was used by a lot of air crews. I am looking forward to going back in the spring.

“Avoid Palma”

The area surrounding this hotel was quite run down and we didnt feel at all safe to go out at night. The bathroom door wouldnt close and this was reported on our first day but a week later nothing had been done. Thehotel boasts two pools one indoor one outdoor but only one is open at a time, The balcony lights were switched off around midnight with no independent control to have yours on.

“Close to the Bellver castle but not much else to set it aside”

This is a refurbished 60s hotel - generally fairly comfortable but noise insulation isn't great in either the walls or the double glazing. The location is convenient for a walk up to the castle,for the nightlife on the Paseo Maritimo without being on top of it, and for the bus service to the Fundacion Miro's gallery at However, it is a fifteen to twenty minute walk to the wall of Old Palma and a further ten minutes from the Cathedral, so depending on your willingness to walk you may end up getting a lot of cabs. I was very disappointed that not only had the outdoor pool been closed in early October, but the indoor pool has also been drained giving none of the advertised swimming options.
