Cheap and Cheerful

For a cheap hotel within walking distance of Magaluf & the beach, this was just right

Ok for the money

After reading mixed reviews I thought the hotel was better than expected with an amazing uninterrupted sea views. It's a bit noisy and rowdy but theres a good atmosphere generally. Not one if you want early nights and a quiet hotel and the rooms could do with a refurb but then again it would cost a lot more.

Short Stay holiday

Posted 24-May-2014
Pros: The pool area is excellent, great for sitting around gassing and taking in the sun. The staff were friendly ,helpful without being intrusive.
Cons: Better locks on the doors particularly the patio door would improve things, however we had no issues and it would not stop me staying again...
Location: Beach ,bars restaurants and shops are all handy .Plenty of choice of food from Burger King to local food and everything in between.Prices reasonable.
The room was basic but clean and fulfilled our needs for a bit of a lads few days in the sun. Good position for town beach, bars and restaurants. The pool area overlooked the sea and amply provided with loungers and the outside bar sold good beer and basic snacks , the staff were friendly and helpful. Reviews of the hotel criticised room security. We took note of this and paid for a secure locker at reception. We left no valuables in the rooms. Locks were basic but adequate .All six of us would happily stay there again.

Stunning views, however...

Posted 23-May-2014
Pros: Food from the pool bar is excellent, along with the service. Stunning location, large pool, children's play area & great music round the pool area.
Cons: Refurbish the rooms and include an entertainment programme.
Location: Located in Torrenova, 10 mins walk to the Magaluf party strip, 5-10 mins walk to Torrenova marina & beach. Spoilt for choice with bars & restaurants.
Hotel is situated at the top of an incredibly steep hill. You need to be relatively fit to climb it. Of course once at the hotel the views are amazing from the pool area, pool bar and the rooms if you have a sea view facing room. Downside... - The rooms need updating and refurbishing. The rooms are clean although they feel slightly dirty as the furniture and bathrooms are so old. (mouldy sealant in bathrooms, worn out mattresses etc) - The hotel is situated at the tip of Torrenova, still it's only 10 mins walk from the Magaluf party strip so you do get groups of 18-30's in the hotel, expect to be kept awake at night, we were for the whole duration of our stay. (contacted reception at 4am one morning and they promptly attended to the partying room) We may have just been unlucky, who knows?!

Nice hotel - lovely views - friendly staff

Posted 19-May-2014
Pros: Friendly staff, very very helpful
Cons: More English channels on the TV would be nice.
Location: Right next to the Magaluf Strip, but still very quiet. Loads of bars (recommend Alex's) and loads of places to eat (recommend Tom Browns).
Stayed there last year and just returned for a week this year. Nice hotel, very friendly staff. TV last year had one english channel, this year we had none. Room clean enough, although we had no kettle and the bedsheets had holes in them but they were clean. Only downside is the killer hill.

Big security problem

Posted 09-May-2014
Amazing views but very tired rooms. Major security issues no actual lock on the doors so I got into my room with a bank card in under 5 seconds. Felt very unsafe and hard to relax knowing how easy someone could get into the room. Lifts very tempremental
