“Great suites”
Everything was great, but there was building works in the lobby. This didn't disturbe you when in your room so not a major issue. Parking is a bit expensive at €36 for 24hrs.
“Fantastic weekend, brilliant hotel and staff”
Fantastic weekend, this is the best hotel we have stayed in Magaluf. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the facilities brilliant would recommend it to any groups and fun loving couples. Welsh Girls Oct 11
“Will most definitely be back!”
Lovely hotel, great location!
“Good deal, if you don't need anything else”
The Sol Guadalupe is a nice hotel with a great lobby and pool area. The rooms are basic and dated, but they don't hinder your travel experience. What may put a slight damper on your fun is the long list of extra cost that are unexpected and surprising. First would be the 20Euros you have to pay to have access to the fridge in your room. The fridge is empty and you're only paying for access to about a cubic foot of cold. Second is the 20Euros you have to pay for the key to your safe. This also seems quite steep. We also got half board and were surprised that dinner service comes with no drinks... not even water. If you're looking for something free to drink at dinner, you may want to look at the salad dressing. So besides the price gouging, it is a nice little hotel.
“not my cup of tea”
Sol Guadalupe is a perfectly fine hotel. The service was good, we asked to have 2 beds and were changed immediately. When the noise level on our side of the hotel was above our liking at 11pm, we were switched again, no problem. The rooms are nice & clean. Pretty basic. The pool area is really nice & the kids and babies staying there were having a great time in their own pools. We were farther from the beach than anticipated, the party atmosphere late into the night is just not our style, and the feeding frenzy at breakfast was a bit much. The neighborhood too caters to a nightlife & many pubs. We walked a bit north and found some good Chinese and Italian food. I can see how this would be fun for another breed of traveler - like the Carnival Cruises crowd.
“very nice hotel/polite staff/lovely food”
good friendly clean well located
“fantastic”
The hotel was fantastic, was recommended to me and it lived up to my expectations completely. Definately stay again next year, food , location and hospitality was great. Should be a four star not a three star.
“Very Impressed”
My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks, the hotel was so clean and the food was excellant. I thought that the pool was superb, and spent most days lounging here - Good location and not too noisy
