Very nice break in calm surroundings,
Very good facilities and attentive staff. Breakfasts were very good with a very wide choice of excellent food. Can only suggest that the pool ladder be made user friendly, as too steep for elderly or persons with limited mobility to get in or out of the pool. Whilst a wheel chair lift is provided to get to pool side, it is not possible to use pool.

The property and the room were absolutely beautiful. Staff service was not great and the pool/spa facilities were not quite up to par. Whirlpool/turkish bath waters were not real warm and the sauna/steam rooms took so long to warm up that they never got hot in the expected time frame.

Great hotel with so much potential.
We enjoyed staying at Sa Cabana. It’s quiet (even though there’s easy access to major routes across the island), extremely clean, beds comfy, staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had breakfast a couple of times, the terrace has lovely views over the mountains. We didn’t eat in the restaurant - in fact no one does. There’s no menu available, and the restaurant lacks any atmosphere. Feels like they’re missing a trick. The same with the Spa. Having said that, we’d definitely recommend Sa Cabana and look forward to returning again soon… just a shame they’re closed from 15 Oct - April each year.

We had a wonderful stay ant Sa Cabana. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast particularly the omelettes was delicious. We didn’t have time to use the spa but will return again.

Shocking customer service
Stunning place, rooms etc. Let down by AC not working properly but more so by how they reacted to the situation. Staff assured us it just needed time to cool the room - waited 8 hours for this not to happen. Owner attended, viewed and said they would return - which they did not. Went home and left night staff to deal with problem. The night staff said it couldn't be fixed and if we were not happy the hotel wasn't a prison and we were free to leave (this at midnight !!!) Shocking. That said a fan was provided and a change of room offered and accepted next day. That room AC worked great but stay soured by extremely poor customer service. Free breakfasts offered and accepted but stay spoiled.

Amazing hotel in a lovely rural location! Very clean, large airy rooms, peaceful pool area, great views of the mountains. Well connected to the main highway if you have a car like we did.

Great proximity to the airport but super quiet. The staff were very welcoming and the service was exceptional, especially from Sid and Jordi, and they went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool and spa are perfect for unwinding and our room was spotless and spacious with a lovely view toward the mountains. The only downside to our holiday is that we weren't able to stay longer but I'm sure we'll return soon.

This is a very nice spa hotel in an old but fully renovated hacienda about 30 minutes from Palma town. It has a good spa pool, small but adequate gymnasium, nice main pool area, beautiful surroundings and an excellent on-site restaurant. There are several picturesque small towns nearby, also with good dining options. The only drawback is that local transportation is not good so a car is a must-have. Otherwise, Sa Cabana is an excellent place for a spa break!

The room was spacious and wonderful, the bathroom luxurious. Excellent breakfast buffet with American coffee :) Beautiful grounds and a gym! I used the gym twice and it was terrific, so was the pool. Thank you for my wonderful stay. I hope to return.

We arrived 9-10pm in the evening, as advertised online the hotel provides a shuttle service, so I called before arrival but nobody picked up. When we arrived we where told that there had been an issue with our reservation and that we will be send to another hotel 20mins away. As apology for the inconvenience we received free breakfast for the duration of our stay, and for the morning that we were leaving at 5:30 a cold breakfast for takeaway, which in the end was forgotten about. We were offered to have dinner that night but charged for it in the end. We should have been called before arrival at the hotel. The other hotel was lovely, the rooms were not as nice but the breakfast amazing. The hotel claims online that it has rental bikes, a shuttle service etc non of which is true which made our stay more difficult as we didnt hire a car based in those features.

The hotel, facilities, restaurant and service were all amazing. I would highly recommend it as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the island. We only stayed for one night, just wish we’d planned to stay for longer!

Lovely hotel - but beware taxis!!
A beautiful hotel with generally friendly staff. However I feel unable to give the 5* recommendation as I had expected. We enjoyed a welcome glass of Cava then went to our room which however had not been made up despite being well after check-in time. We were assigned another room. It was lovely, very well appointed so no complaints there but we could have done without the initial disappointment and the soaking going to and from the first room. By far our biggest bugbear though - on asking for a a taxi for later in the evening we were told it was unlikely - strange surely with 3 towns nearby?! They'd let us know a to 5pm- they didn't. We prepared to drive ourselves, rather annoyed since this made the reason for our stay unnecessary. We booked precisely to save us the drive and to allow us a drink at a meal with friends. On leaving though we were told a taxi had been ordered. Unfortunately it came all the way from Palma, 10mins late, but worse with €26.50 already in the meter. By the time we got to our destination- which the driver didn't know, it cost €45! Fortunately the manager at our hotel restaurant had no problem getting us a taxi for the return journey and it cost only €19! Surely a hotel of the standard of Sa Cabana should have no problem providing taxis for their guests - and at reasonable cost. We felt, rightly or wrongly that we had been taken advantage of and it really detracted from the enjoyment of our stay.

Dear David, We are sorry about the inconveniences during your stay, mainly about the taxi service. We are in a rural area and the three towns in the nearby (Alaró, Consell, Binissalem) have a media of aprox 5000 population each, so they just have one taxi per town which could be on service when we phone. Other options, like Inca or coast areas have more availability, but they take longer to arrive and charge the way to Sa Cabana. Recently we had an agreement with a on-line taxi service company and all the guests of Sa Cabana that book their taxi with minimum two hours in advance won’t have to pay the extra charge from Palma to Sa Cabana. We are really sorry that this option was not available during your stay. I hope you understand that we try to do our best but we can not always control the external services in touristic season. Great option in the interior of Mallorca!
We stayed at Sa Cabana for the second portion of our honeymoon in Spain. It was a great place to go for peace and quiet, as well as to relax and decompress from the crazy of our wedding. It was very quiet - because of the summer months there weren't many guests and at times it felt like an almost private resort. The hotel staff had champagne in our room when we arrived, which was a nice gesture. Ange at the front desk was helpful with our questions about Binnisalem. We each had a massage one of the days of our stay, which was incredibly relaxing. The spa area has a sauna and turkish bath which were very clean. The food was excellent. We had breakfast every morning where there was a variety of fruit, eggs, pastries and (my favorite) bread, meat, and cheese. We ate dinner at the restaurant two of the three nights that we stayed. The food was excellent and Jose helped us pick out wine to go with our meal. The best part was the dessert - both nighst we had fried chocolate truffles with coconut ice cream. It was incredible. If you are looking for an affordable finca style hotel in the interior of Mallorca, Sa Cabana is a great option.

Excellent hotel in a tranquil setting.
Sa Cabana was exactly what we were looking for. Away from the mega-resorts of Palma. It is the perfect base from which to explore the island. The food and wine were excellent. And the pool with the view of the mountains was a highlight. The spa is also incredible. Highly recommend.

Tasteful, well presented and a totally relaxing
Very pleasant stay will definitely return! We liked everything about this place calm cool and collected! It provided us with very comfortable accommodation good service and overall very pleasant surroundings. It also provided us with a comfortable base to track around favourite haunts along the south Coast of Mallorca. A small select establishment with a choice of accommodation all different but of high quality and comfort!

A stunning peaceful retreat

Great blend of the old and the new.
We had a short but delightful stay here. room 6 had a lovely seating area quite private and smelling sweetly of the jasmine that surrounded the area. The staff here were pleasant and obliging, the rooms a lovely blend of the new and modern, whilst retaining the charm of the original building. The gardens are beautifully kept and quite lovely. breakfast on the terrace looking towards the mountains just perfect. Only one question, would we go again absolutely yes! Only one downer, there is some traffic noise from the old main road, but don't let this put you off.

Nice boutique hotel off the beaten path
Very tranquil little boutique hotel. Restaurant served excellent food. Service was good but a bit slow, but come on, this is Spain. Our double room was nicely appointment and comfortable.

Loads of potential; held back by service and food.
The setting for this hotel is wonderful - surrounded by mountains, vineyards and olive groves. The hotel's shared spaces and rooms are attractive and well executed. However service, especially during the day, was unforgivably slow (1 hour for a ham and cheese sandwich to appear at lunch and 30 minutes for two soft drinks on average). Dinner menu is pretty unimaginative and suffered the same fate as lunch menu with many items mysteriously unavailable.

Perfect hideaway hotel
Small, very professional run hotel. Surrounded by beautiful rural countryside with a back drop of a striking mountain range. Nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly and polite staff, they made us feel very welcome. Bed was very comfortable in a large room with the quitess air contitioning possible, if you want a quite, relaxing, well positioned hotel for visiting variuos places on the island, you will not be disappointed by choosing this one.

Fantastic
2 day stay with my girlfriend at the end of a villa holiday. Had a junior suite/ suite, was amazing. Huge bath tub in the middle of the room, super king bed, finished to a really high standard. Hotel staff were fantastic and friendly. Pool is nice and relaxing, you have a little button to call a waiter and they'll bring you drinks, a great touch.Prices were really reasonable (Londoner). Maybe 20 rooms or so, so has a intimate feeling. Free, strong WIFI throughout (including the pool), daily English newspapers. Would definitely like to return!

Rural Tranquillity...Majorcan Stress Relief
Away from the hustle and bustle of beach life. Quiet with a capital "Q". Easy going with well -appointed accommodation. Staff helpful but not obtrusive.Good buffet breakfast range both in quality and presentation. Variety of room sizes available....ours was top floor and vast...huge bed...open plan design with modern fixtures. Bar snacks available and perhaps a slightly limited evening menu......the food was excellent over three days, the dinner being very much nouveau cuisine in style and content, and a million miles from pizza/burger land of the coastal beach resort areas. Nice wine selections, in fact you can see the wine cellar from the restaurant area which has a glass floor. In a nutshell I can say that I arrived needing a decent holiday break after the stresses and strains of modern work life.....and my wife and I left feeling refreshed and re-energised. Besides the advantages of the site itself, the location is ideally placed as a touring base.... you will almost certainly need a car to get there anyway.

A lovely place to stay
The Sa Cabana Hotel Rural & Spa is absolutely lovely. The buildings and grounds are stunning. If you are looking for a very quiet relaxing break with a bit of luxury we thoroughly recommend it. All the staff we encountered where really nice, friendly and helpful and everything about the hotel was of a high standard. There was a slight lack of atmosphere generally, which was especially noticeable in the evenings (and the other guests seemed to be pretty solemn and unfriendly when we were there too). The little village of Consell is a 10 minute walk away, albeit along a main road with no pavement, where you will find a couple of quiet restaurants and bars if you wanted to venture out locally in the evenings on foot. Also a short drive away is Santa Maria which was nice with a few more restaurants to choose from. We stayed for 5 nights and had a hire car so we ventured out and explored the Island and beaches most days and had a wonderful holiday. We will definitely be back but for a shorter stay. A weekend of peace after a hectic week at work would be perfect.

Hidden treasure
A lovely family-owed and operated hotel, full of character and understated elegance. Friendly staff and great service. As an adults-only venue, it is ideal for a romantic break with a small but well-equipped gym/spa area. While the location seemed rather isolated, there are good public transport connections and Binissalem, a 20 minute walk from the hotel, is an interesting small town with plenty of local colour.

Very stylish and sophisticated...a most relaxing atmosphere. My mom and I were two of 10 guests. The breakfast was so tasty and elegant. I didn't want to leave. Just bring snacks with you though as there is no gift shop or place to buy nibbles in the hotel.

It really is very rural
Lovely hotel but really in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful building, beautiful pool. Somehow something was missing. I think perhaps it is so new that it has not had time to settle in. Carlos, barman. waiter and just about everything else was super as was Tony and our lovely maid. Nothing was too much trouble. When I stayed it was very very quite on one day my daughter and I were the only two round the pool all day. Negatives... no hotel information in the rooms. There was a really nasty pong from the toilet and hard as I tried I could not get the water to run cold out of either of the taps. If you are looking for somewhere beautiful to relax Sa Cabana is the place.
