“Good hotel, great location”

The hotel sits on the headland overlooking the picturesque harbour of Porto Petro and two pretty calas which are pleasant for swimming (though the hotel also has three excellent outdoor pools). The grounds are extensive, the views from the main hotel building spectacular, and it's only a 5-minute stroll down the hill to the waterfront with its many bars and restaurants, so it really is a 5-star location. The hotel architecture is rather functional and the rooms are bland but well-appointed and comfortable. We had a junior suite in the creatively named Building 2 which I can recommend as it's only a short walk from the main building and faces west. The air-conditioning in our room worked, but not to the temperature I would have liked, so it was just as well the nights weren't too hot while we were there. I also found it difficult to see into the wardrobes, which were deep and dark! The members of staff we encountered were friendly and efficient. It's worth noting that the indoor pool is a lot smaller than it appears in the photos, and there's a notice up stating that it's for spa treatments, not for swimming. However, we were told that one of the outdoor pools is heated in winter. It was very peaceful and relaxing (even when 300 people arrived for a conference!) and w'ed certainly go back at this time of year.

“Pleased with hotel”

Visted in Sept after the peak season had ended so the hotel wasn't full. Difficult to fault the service and facilities. An extra walk each day walking to / from the restaurant. Pools clean with a lifeguard on duty all day. Even the invasaion by a corporate conference didn't matter much.

“Majorcan Jewel”

Set out across a bay with very good use of the natural terraine leaving you space and peaceful areas all around the resort. The Dining area overlooks the bay and the food and facilities warrant the 5* status. The half board option was very good value.

“Magical Mallorca”

We had a fabulous weeks break, the hotel staff were brilliant,the food and accommodation first class.If you want activities the sports club is well run by Gregory and the team who have activities everyday. We went walking, cycling, sea kayaking and played tennis. Would definitely recommend this hotel

loved the location and the setting of the hotel. the staff was very friendly and helpful. breakfast buffet was really nice. the room clean and comfi. what more does one need for a relaxing holiday!

“Great location, great hotel”

Located in the lovely quiet and charming resort of Porto Petro, we found this hotel to be just about everything we wanted for a restful summer vacation. We went in mid August when the hotel was just about full, but you would never know this from the way the hotel is laid out. We started out as just B&B but upgraded to Full Board after 1 day as the food was great (Do this via Expedia, it's cheaper that way. Our only compliant would be having a buffet in the evening instead of a sit down service, but the food was of a high quality including freshly grilled lobster on seafood night. You can however eat in the 'posh' restaurant getting a 50% discount if you are on full board. This restaurant has a French chef and offers high quality food, great service and a wonderful view. We went twice. You can also now eat in the Japanese restaurant on full boad at no extra cost. When we stayed the guests were mostly Spanish we should be a good sign. We will go back.

“Superb experience”

This hotel is superb for family holidays. Service is good, staff very friendly and service minded and hotel/surroundings are beautiful. We used the restaurants at the hotel which were fantastic! A very recommendable place and an experience we will endeavour to repeat in the near future.

“Wonderful place to stay”

What a lovely spot to stay if you do not want to be in the middle of things. Ideal for a quiet relax with 3 pools fantsatic scenery excellent service and food and local bars/restaurants within 2oo yards. A car was useful and we arranged this through hertz via expedia and the pick up and drop off was excellent. We went full board which was a little over the top. Half board would be ample and the view from the restaurant was excellent. Lots of lovely coves nearby to drive to. would definitely go back

“I would go back”

Good hotel in a small town, the hotel is spread acroos a large area and has 3 pools (one indoor) and two small beaches. The rooms closer to the entrance of the hotel are closer to the small town some rooms are a 5 min walk to the entrance. Breafast was very godd with an excellent selection, there was a conference at the hotel while we were there, this was entertaining for us to watch... and meant we could use all the facilities whilst they were all working.
