The 10-storey Nixe Palace has 133 air-conditioned guestrooms, decorated in a traditional style. Neutral walls and dark wood furniture are complemented by soft furnishings with colourful birds and floral patterns, and historic prints on the walls. Sea-view rooms also have balconies with wicker chairs and views of the beach and bay.
Amenities include minibars and desks with 20-inch satellite televisions. Bathrooms are fully tiled with grey marble floors walls and sink tops; bathtubs and hand-held showers, hairdryers, and complimentary Hermes toiletries. A welcome gift of typical island food or drink produce awaits guests.

Bistro restaurant - Informal fifth-floor restaurant offering buffet breakfast in the morning, and snacks and meals throughout the day. Sea views from the terrace. Open all day.
Agumar - Formal fourth-floor dining room used for winter season only (October to mid-May). Muted green colour scheme with carpeted floor, chandeliers and tables topped with white linens. Views onto bay, no outdoor seating. Serves Mediterranean dishes à la carte. Open for dinner only.
A Popa - Small, bright, nautical-themed restaurant designed to recall the interior of a wooden sailing ship (the name means ship's stern), complete with ship's wheel and portholes. A small terrace with canvas chairs looks directly onto the white sand beach of Cala Mayor. Specialises in fish and seafood. Meat options also available. Open for lunch and dinner.
Poolside Bar - Snacks and drinks served by the outdoor pool overlooking the beach, in a chill-out area with ambient music. Open throughout the day, until late in the summer season (mid-May to September).
Lobby Bar - Formal lounge, serving a large selection of drinks accompanied by live piano music each evening.

“Great hotel with amazing mediterranean views”
The Nixe Palace is a beautiful hotel set on the cliffs with uninterrupted views of the coastline. Great hotel with extremely helpful staff. The standard rooms with a 'city view' are on the small side and the road is somewhat noisy so if your budget permits, the sea views rooms with their own terraces are well worth it. Excellent food - breakfast will last you most of the day! Pool is a bit small and if the hotel is full might be somewhat overcrowded however the beach is at the bottom of a couple of flights of stairs so it's not too much of an issue! A couple of words of warning though, you do have to pay for a lounger on the beach and although it appears sandy, there are a lot of very sharp rocks lurking under a very thin layer of sand so beware of your toes! All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Nixe Palace Hotel Cala Major Majorca”
Superb sea front position affording you 5 star luxury. East transport into Palma by bus or taxi, within easy 15 minute walk of huge shopping mall. Attentive staff and great rooms. We stayed there in early November away from all the hustle of the normal holiday period. Highly recommended
“Beautiful hotel right on the beach... Great service, great location..”
Beautiful hotel right on the beach... Great service, great location.. 2 minor egative points - the first downside is that the beach umbreallas and beds come at a price. Not really a lot of money but very strange that a 5 star hotel would not subsidise it. Also, there are zero watersports activities, which is shocking given hotels perfect location right on the beach... Overwize excellent stay, highly recommend
“Lovely Hotel & Spa”
This is the second time we have stayed at this Hotel and have really loved it on both occassions. The spa is really lovely and relaxing, in fact the whole ambiance of the hotel is relaxing and serene. This time we spent time on the beach at the back of the hotel which is really lovely althoug small, the water is absolutely cristal clear and all sand. I can't wait to go backa gain and would definately recommend it. The only thing I would change about this hotel is the price of the drinks, snacks and dining, it is extremely expensive and meant that we always had to go out, which is a shame as the dining room looked beautiful and I would have like to eat there.

I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel as having read previous reviews they sometimes tended to be less than complimentary. Hope to visit the hotel again.
“Great Hotel - Not perfect location”
Beautiful hotel with amazing views. Local shops and restaurants not perfect but all in all a good experience. Very nice spa included in the price.
“Overbooked but made up for it!”
Although we prebooked and paid for a Premium Sea view room with balcony the hotel had overbooked on the first night of our three night stay and this was not available. We ended up in a street view room which was a disappointment as the main charm of this hotel is the proximity to beach and the beautiful view. The sea view room was available for the next two nights so we packed up and moved the following morning. We were compensated with free breakfast for all three days of our stay. We had not originally planned to breakfast at all (planned to sleep late and move straight to lunch). However we found the hour or so on the beautiful terrace with a glass of fizz, a newspaper and a delicious breakfast to be in the end one of the highlights of our stay. So do book a package with breakfast if you can!
“Wonderful hotel, will definitely return!”
Our room was luxuriously decorated and spotlessly clean. Minor issues on the day we arrived were promptly remedied by the helpful and courteous reception staff. The bistro food was good value and very tasty, though the service a little slow sometimes (which is why a 4 rather than a 5 for the quality of staff and service). Room service was prompt and little extras like providing a corkscrew helpfully accommodated.The spa was well maintained and beautifully designed. A 15 minute bus journey took us into the town centre, and there is a lovely stylish cafe/wine bar 5 minutes up the road from the hotel walking away from town, well worth a visit. Will definitely return!
“Great hotel with relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff”
Had a delightful stay here. Staff extremely friendly,check in .service and information on local facilites ie bus ,booking restaurants etc. Hotel very comfortable with recently modernised rooms. Sea and pool loungers and both facilities clean and pool towels provided, Fantastic small beach and sea clean and lovely to swim in. Pool smalller than expected as was gym and spa but adequate for short stay.( not quite 5 star more a 3 or 4).drinks and food pricey not sure if due to Euro or just what you expect at 5 star. local bars and supermarkets nearby can reduce costs. ate in palma city 10euro approx in taxi and local rest also within walking distance.,Great weekedn break
