“good hotel in Mallorca but overpriced”

we have recently returned from Iberostar Playa de Muro Village (first 2 weeks in July 2011). Overall it is good hotel with polite and hospitable staff. Good meal in restaurant (better than in neighbouring Iberostar Playa de Muro) Warm and shallow sea that is good for small kids Rooms consist of living roomd and bedroom However, juices and drinks at the breakfast seem to be diluted with water. no freshly squeezed juice is available. Air-conditioner didn't work in our room Furniture in living room was rather old and was made of angle only. There was no cabinet with number of shelves for clothes the hotel is overpriced and should have costen less

Must see

we rented a car and visited Cap de Formentor with lighthouse on the rock. Must see. beautiful landscapes but road there is rather challenging.

“Use this hotel”

This hotel was very good. More than I expected for a 'holiday' 4 star hotel. Good room, excellent choice of meals and a good location. I'm going back.

“Top-Hotel unmitelbar am tollen Sandstrand”

Das Playa de Muro Villages ist ein sehr schönes Appartmenthotel direkt am Sandstrand von Alcudia. Zimmer: Wir hatten ein Appartment mit Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer und Bad. Alles sehr sauber und geschmackvoll. Die Zimmer hatten 2 LCD-Fernseher, es gab auch ne Mikrowelle und nen Wasserkocher. Da wir sehr spät anreisten (23 Uhr) bekamen wir sogar ein kaltes Abendessen kostenlos aufs Zimmer gebracht. Toll! Verpflegung: Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Das Essen war sehr sehr reichhaltig, schmackhaft und auch abwechslungsreich in der Woche, in der wir da waren. Pool / Strand: Die Poolanlage ist wirklich toll, und die Nähe zum Sandstrand einfach perfekt. Wir legten uns auf die Liegen des hoteleigenen kleinen Strandabschnitts (zwischen Strand und Pool). Da stehen ein paar Bäume, die Schatten spenden und die Liegen kosten da auch nichts. Entfernung zum Wasser von da ca. 10m. Der Strand selbst ist ein Traum... man kann einige hundert Meter ins Meer laufen, der Sand selbst ist sehr fein. Echt super! Sonstiges: Vor dem Hotel ist die Hauptverkehrsstrasse (die wir in unserem Zimmer auch hörten, störte uns aber nicht sehr). Allerlei Geschäfte und Bars in direkter Nähe, sehr angenehm. Wir hatten per Click & Mix auch einen Mietwagen dazugebucht, was ich nur empfehlen kann. So erreicht man auch andere nette Stellen der Insel im Handumdrehen Negatives: da fällt mir eigentlich nichts ein. Das Personal war immer nett und freundlich, alles war sauber. Das ist für mich das Wichtigste.

Area recommendations

Cap Formetor - sehr spektakulärer Blick auf den nördlichsten Teil Mallorcas. Mit dem Auto ca. 30 min. Tailia Alcudia - nicht weit vom Hotel (10min mit dem Auto). Tolle Wanderung auf den Tailia-Hügel mit Blick auf die Bucht von Alcudia und auch Pollenca. Sa Calobra - schwindelerregende Serpentinenstrasse zu einem Traumstrand (gebührenpflichtiger Parkplatz am Strand). Tolle Yachten im Hafen, tolle Landschaft. Und atemberraubende Fahrt (12km Serpentinen). Ca. 30 min vom Hotel). Cala Boquer (bei Port de Pollenca) - sehr schöne Wanderung an einen einsamen Strand. Ca. 15 min per Auto vom Hotel entfernt.

“Playa de Muro Village: Integrado en la playa de Muro”

La ubicacion del hotel integada en la propia Playa de Muro y con accesos directos a la misma, permite disfrutar de este entorno de una manera facil y comoda.

Outdoors or beach

Visitar el Parque Natural de la Alfubera, muy proximo a la playa de Muro. Es un paraje natural con senderos guiados para poder pasea comodamente y disfrutar de este entorno de naturaleza, asi como de las aves de la zona.

“Super Rennradurlaub”

Hotel ist sehr gut. Das einzige was wir Bemängeln können aus unserer Sicht. Das Essen war nicht heiss genug.......
