Very Good. But don't insist on my writing extra feedback like this because I simply won't submit any feedback in future.

Nice hotel, handy for everything

Posted 16-Jun-2014
Pros: Everything.
Cons: The hotel has been upgraded since last year, and depending on what you are looking for and expecting, we cannot see it being able to get much better.
Location: Handy for the shops, other restaurants and cafes, transport, not far for the bus to other towns, and it's own pool very close.
This was our 6th year on the trot visiting this hotel, and we found it as we always do, friendly and very helpful staff, excellent location, excellent food and very clean. What more would anyone want.

Good location in centre can be noisy

Posted 28-Apr-2014
Pros: Modern feel and very clean
Cons: Need to be able to turn AC on when required - this was not available as only heating available at time of year.
Location: Lots of restaurants on doorstep. Walked over the hill to Cala san Vincente. About an hour walk.
This hotel has a modern feel and has been decorated very nicely. The higher level rooms are very hot though and there was no a/c in April so felt very humid. Very good range of breakfast. Very good location in the centre and on seafront. Seaview from all rooms. Noisy at night. Small but very comfortable rooms. Would return.

Great location, beautiful area

Posted 13-Apr-2014
Pros: The staff.
Cons: Nithing really. Just parking, but it was fine, a short walk.
Our experience was fantastic. The staff in particular were so helpful and caring. The hotel was in a great spot and was really clean. Unfortunately we only went to their restaurant on the last night which was fantastic. Having our young child was difficult at meal time, but the hotel food was excellent. Breakfast was superb with excellent coffee. Again the staff were so helpful. The restaurants we first ate at were not good, sad but the places we chose were providing so called English food, frozen, deep fried and poor quality. Next time we will check places that serve fresh, simple and spanish food. It was a shame that the restaurants feel that this is what they should provide coming to Mallorca. We will definitely go back as it was beautiful, clean and a really great visit. The time of season was just right as well as weather was excellent and the island was not overly busy.

Very pleasant hotel on the beach front.

Posted 12-Apr-2014
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Central location on the beach in the heart of Port de Pollensa close to shops, cafes and restaurants.
Cons: Very satisfied with service and facilities.
Location: Super location for cycling, running, hillwalking and lazing by the beach. Inexpensive public transport so easy to get around on a budget.
The hotel is centrally located on the beach front very close to the marina in Port de Pollensa and at the heart of the shopping and restaurant area. The room was clean and comfortable with a west facing balcony overlooking the roof tops and Pollensa Bay. Nice breakfast buffet selection with a choice of fresh produce including fruit, pastries, cold meats and breads as well as a selection of hot dishes. Very pleasant, helpful staff. The hotel has a ock-up bike basement adjacent to the hotel for storing bicycles - ideal for those enjoying cycle training holidays or exploring the island on two wheels. Nice swimming pool and sun patio area set into the sea for relaxing days by the beach. The hotel is very easy to reach by public transport from Palma airport (bus to Palma from the airport followed by a bus from the central bus station to Port de Pollensa) and therefore ideal for those on a budget. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel. Ideal for cycling trips and relaxing

Posted 02-Sep-2013
Pros: Location, in the centre of Porto Pollensa but still quiet. Pleasant, helpful staff. Ideal for cyclists as it has a dedicated bike store room
A really lovely hotel to stay at, at the beginning of the pine walk and next to the beach. Nice pool area overlooking the bay which is clean and well maintained. This was our third stay at the hotel in as many years and we have always had nice rooms with comfortable beds, air conditioning and also side balconies which get the sun in afternoon and evening. The breakfast buffet is excellent and plentiful with a wide range of hot and cold options. Without exception we have always found the staff extremely pleasant and helpful.

Very close to the beach. Lovely pool area

Enjoyed our stay at the Daina, right by the beach. Lovely pool area and cocktail bar in the evening. Excellent breakfast buffet with lovely sea views from the balcony. Our room (210) was very spacious, however our daughters' room (206) was less so but they got the better shower and better view! Well looked after by all the staff who had a smile and a "hola" for everyone.

Great for couples.

Pros: Food choice and air con plus fan in room.
Cons: Sun on side sea view room balcony from mid afternoon onwards.
Location: Couldn't be better. At the start of the pine walk and within yards of the harbour arm and bus stop.
The Daina is great. The food is terrific: bags of choice to suit every taste and nationality. The room had air con and a ceiling fan which was so welcome. One remarkable bit of service: the shower hose burst as I was showering before dinner. Husband popped down to reception to report it and they offered to fix it that evening. Husband said no, tomorrow will do - but when we got back from dinner a new shower hose was in place. A nifty bit of communication between reception and the dining room I am pleased to report. Word of warning about the side sea view rooms: the sun hits the balcony mid-afternoon. Not too good if you've had enough sun and just want a shady spot.

Perfectly Relaxed

Posted 05-Aug-2013
Pros: Excellent breakfast, with outdoor terrace seating
Cons: Internal position of balcony with no view
Location: Perfectly located for easy access to the town square and sea/beach/pinewalk, with excellent restaurants and cafes
We found Hotel Daina the perfect base for a completely relaxed holiday. The room was clean, spacious and well maintained. We slept very well thanks to a peaceful side room location, comfortable beds and efficient air conditioning. The only drawback to the room's position was the lack of view from the balcony. We would definitely return to the same hotel, but would book earlier to get a sea view room. A highlight of the holiday was the excellent breakfast, with a vast range of hot and cold options. We ate breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the seafront every day - a luxurious experience!
