“Nice Hotel, Hope Your fit!”

We stayed here for a week and was very impressed. Hotel Staff very Friendly and Hotel rooms were nice and clean. Also A very good price. One word of slight warning its on a hill and is about half & 45 mins walk into the centre. We quite enjoy walking and as long as you find the short cuts you will get to the port within 5 mins. There is taxis and buses outside the hotel if you need them anyway. Would stay again!! Palma is a lovely city-enjoy.

“Quiet break away.....”

This is a very nice hotel with very welcoming staff. My wife and I were made to feel welcome from the first moment. The rooms were airy and well-equiped. Modern furniture in good condition, a large bathroom and flat-screen satelite TV. The balcony gave us a partial seaview. The hotel catering was limited due to time of year, but we knew this before booking. The breakfast was good and good value. The house keeping was excellent. The bus stop serving the city was just outside the door and a bus every 15 minutes meant we rarely used the taxi rank, which was at the same place. Th hotel was a short (10 inutes) walk from the nearest restaurants and bars (Rifif is very good), but we prefered the old city, with its excellent choice of bars and restaurants (La Boveda and Bar Dia stick in the mind). All in all, an excellent holiday hotel in an interesting city (visit the Fondacio Pilar & Joan Miro!!!!).

“Decent Hotel Up The Hill”

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fairly good though the fruit was sometimes not ripe or overripe. You have a fairly steep climb up the hill from port and the bus stops. No views of bay. This is a good option to consider when you don't want to be affiliated with any one beach, plan to rent a car to go to different places, and don't mind some bus rides to get to the center of town or close-in beaches. Palma's a fairly big place so don't know where else I would recommend unless you want to spend more money. Biggest problem with hotel was that for several days the A/C smelled like a sewer. They told us this had to do with the rising tide but this sounded like nonsense to us.

“A very good hotel and really a 4 star”

The location of the hotel was no good. Far fromthe main atractions of the city, but the personnel was excellent, helpfull and friendly. The room was excellent as well, the inconvenience is that we have to walk a lot to reach it, since it was in another building, but, overall I would recommend it.

“Nice hotel, a bit distant from city center”

Hesperia is a quality hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. The location is a bit far from the main city of Palma, but a 5 minute walk from the hotel will get you to a bus that stops by every 10 minutes or so. The room was a bit smoky when we first entered, but otherwise a very nice setup. No free breakfast :(...Overall satisfied and would recommend

“Business hotel, friendly reception staff”

Very much a business hotel, limited views from balconies, limited room service. Breakfast very expensive for quality. Room very big and comfortable and hotel staff very multilingual and well informed about the area and island. Not a hotel for lounging and spending time in but for no nonsence comfortable accomodation on direct bus routes and 10 minutes from town centre (by bus) can't beat it. Nice vibe of other clients and staff, without 'faff' of holidaymakeing atmosphere. Bar area quiet atmosphereless and bland, so really you have to be outside hotel for eating/coffes etc. all minumum 10 minute walk away but the bus does stop direct outside the hotel so is easy to get to beach and centre of town. I liked the atmosphere and it did feel relaxed. Think a little overpriced for facilities it has as a tourist traveller who wanted to spend some time relaxing in hotel.

Hotel was excellent value for money, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room.

“Clean rooms, friendly staff”

Room and hotel were both very clean and the staff very friendly. Free parking and no hidden charges. Nice breakfast buffet is offered for an extra fee. Pool was out of service during our visit, though it was the off-season (November) and a bit cold outside anyway. Only real complaint is that their only recommendations for an affordable seafood restaurant were far too pricey for us (over twice what we're used to paying in the US), so we ended up searching on our own and finding a restaurant that was just what we were looking for (classy, tasty, seafood) on the Paseo de los Illetas (Palma-bound road) in Illetes with average prices much more comparable to what we were used to.

“Much better than I expected”

We had read a few mixed reviews before we arrived, expecting the worse we were more than pleased. We only stayed 1 night at the end of our holiday and booked 3 rooms (family of 5 + aupair, youngest being 5). Hotel staff were very nice, nothing was too much trouble including letting us use their storage facilities and pool until 7pm on the day of departure. The rooms were modern, well furnished - very nice bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable and all rooms appear to have balconies (not all look onto gardens). Aircon was much appreciated. Pool was fine - large and deep (small childrens end), not many sunbeds but not that many people using them during the day. Also can be shady around the pool which was perfect for us with small children. Hotel is on hill and not walking distance from centre but close to shopping centre and restaurants. Breakfast buffet worth the 10 euros per person but coffee was rubbish. Only critisism was availability of food and drink during the day - had to use vending machine?? Would recommend though - excellent value
