“Would stay again”

i wanted somewhere in a good position for both the city and the marina and was not disappointed, right by the main shopping and a 5-10 minute walk to the marina. The hotel was very nice and the staff were very helpful, the guys in the bar/restaurant were very friendly. We asked for a double room but it was 2 single beds pushed together which i dont like much, ok if they are somehow attached but they were not in this case. asked for a room with a balcony which we had, great! Not that we watch much tv while away but only free engilsh channel was sky news! Room could also do with tea and coffee making facilities. Overall a great hotel and would definately go back.

“Great location. Excellent hotel”

Great location. Staff is very friendly. Hotel rooms are quite large, especially for Europe. Comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet is really good. The hotel is close to shopping, restaurants and all major sites of Palma.

Getting around

Getting to hotel: Take Bus #1 from the airport drops you off right across the street from the hotel. Note: Bus #1 Does not change bills over 10 Euro. Fare from the airport is 2.40 Euro so make sure you have change. The return trip is a little over 2 Euro. Getting around Mallorca: Mallorca City Tour -Hop on Hop off bus – This is an excellent way to see Palma. You can hop on and off at all of the major sites, including the cruise ship terminal. Headsets are provided and channels for at least 12 languages are available. Very informative. Tip: If you are going to another big city in Spain (Barcelona for example) bring your map and receipt from Mallorca to the Barcelona City Tour bus and get a 10% discount on the Barcelona bus.

Dining

Restaurante Tucana (C/Apuntadores, 14 La Lonja) – The homemade pasta at this place is outstanding. The spinach ricotta ravioli awesome. The best I have ever had. The Tagellita with creamy truffle sauce and filet is excellent. Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. The menu of the day is a great option.

“great location,great hotel”

Went to Palma for a fab birthday weekend had a wonderful time helped by this hotel with a great location and great service, rooms very good ,very clean, great bar staff who gave us a discount on a birthday drink and a good breakfast buffet.Only thing i would have changed was to ask for a room with a balcony.

“Great base in Palma”

Modern "art hotel" in an ideal position on the edge of the old town in Palma. Easy to walk all over the central area. Can even walk to the station. If you are not keen on walking taxis are plentiful. Hotel itself is very comfortable with an excellent bar/restaurant with very reasonable prices. Lots more restaurants within 100 meters, so lots of choice. Large room with very good aircon. If we return to Palma we will stay here again.

Area recommendations

Cathedral is a must see and the train trip to Soller and then on to Port De Soller is a good day trip.

Dining

Would recommend " Simply Fosh" - great food ,great service in an attractive venue - not cheap.

“Would go back”

Perfectly located, very helpful staff. Hotel ticked all the boxes, room was a reasonable size and the added bonus for us was the balcony! Beware of the extra charges though, safe 3 euros a day and anything other than terrestrial TV is charged for! Breakfast inclusive in our rate and a good selection, even a three choice variation each day on hot breakfast. Again, beware of extra costs for danish pastries and croissants! All in all a great place to stay and centrally lcoated would not hesitate in booking again.

Area recommendations

Anywhere in Palma old town is exciting and give you the true atmosphere of old Mallorca!

When to go

Great time to visit is mid September - kids have just gone back to school, weather is usually glorious and not too many tourists. Comfortable for walking around.

Dining

Superb tapas bars and restaurants in and around Ave Apuntadores, and sea front, gives you the real feel of Mallorca.

“Good breakfast and food at The Restaurant. Good location.”

Nothing to complaint about except for The elevador which closes fast without avoiding to hit People in transit to entry or exit. You Will find your stay confortable and convenient for entretainment and shopping.

“Excellent location”

This was a great hotel with an excellent location, it is only a walk away from the main shops, the old town and the cathedral. The buses outside the hotel will take you to the beaches. Take bus 1 from the airport and it will drop you off outside the hotel which is the Passeig Mallorca. Also, the bus stop for the 1 and 5 opposite the hotel will take you to the bus/train station where you can take the old train to the beach resort of Soller, it is a highlight to visit and the trip through the mountains is wonderful.

“Always enjoy”

The no 1 bus stops right outside going in from the airport and the otherside of the torrente for the return trip. The hotel is always clean, the staff are always excellent, perfect possition in Palma, As an older single woman I feel totally safe in both the hotel and the surrounding areas. I shall continue to use it as often as I go to Palma.

“Holiday reassurance”

Hotel in good, central area of Palma. Felt quite comfortable walking in street after dark. Very close to main shopping area and choice of eating places. Hotel Reception staff spoke v good English, were helpful in advising on sight seeing, getting taxis and ensuring taxi driver understood where we wished to travel particularly when it was to the other side of the island. V grateful for this reassurance.
