“Decent Hotel”
We stayed here for one night in October 2011. The hotel was clean and the room was more than adequate with a good view over the marina in Palma. It was quite a walk into the city centre and it is difficult to access the hotel from the main road.
“Front view a must”
Location of hotel good,the staff pleasant and helpful. No 3 bus service excellent if you dont walk to town centre Tour bus stops opposite shopping centre, take a trip first day to get your bearings Prices about the same as home. A supermarket and shopping centre available nearby I would return to a front balcony only, the view of the sunrise in September not to be missed. When you arrive seek out the Venicular it will make life a lot easier as hotel is on a hill.
“Good for Transfer To/From Cruise Ships”
Overall, a relatively good choice. I stayed at this hotel a total of 2 nights, one night on my way to start a cruise out of Palme de Mallorca, and the second time on the way home. Room was big, hardwood floors and tile, but sparsely furnished (in the European tradition). No dresser in which to put clothes. No clock to set an alarm (but you can request a wake-up call). My first room was on the garden level, just beneath the restaurant. The noise in the morning from chairs being pushed bach and forth on the hardwood floors of the restauarant above was annoying. Maybe I got one of the last rooms available due to my late arrival. The second room on the second floor was much quieter. Both rooms had a patio/balcony. The view from the terrace bar was simply spectacular. Air France had lost my bag on the way to Palma, and the front desk staff helped me follow-up with baggage claim when I was panicking the next afternoon because the bag had not yet arrived (no worries, the bag was delivered to the cruise ship just before departing the port). The ride to/from the port is a relatively short distance, but the ride to/from the airport is notably longer. I saw little or no activity in the indoor pool, whirlpool, and fitness room on the ground floor. Overall, I was happy with this hotel and would use it again if I go back to Palma.
“Hotel Catalonia Majorica: Une vue splendide”
l'hotel Catalonia Majorica est très facile d'accès depuis l'aeroport (ligne 1 jusqu'a Palça d'espanya puis ligne 3 jusqu'a Joan Miro 144). L'hotel est bien équipé avec 2 piscines et une salle de sport. Les buffet repas sont très bien garni. Le personnel ne parle malheuresement pas le français mais ils sont agréable et ont fait des efforts pour nous comprendre et nous satisfaire. L'emplacement de l'hotel permet aussi bien de se baigner dans de magnifique plages que de découvrir la ville de palma. Deplus c'est un point de départ intéressant pour découvrir l'ile de majorque. Notre séjour dans cet hotel c'est magnifiquemen bien passé et nous somme bien incapable de mettre en avant des points négatif.
“Fantastische Zimmeraussicht”
Ein durchaus solides Hotel der 4* Kategorie. Frühstück ist reichhaltig, Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend! Mietwagen kann in die Umgebung gratis geparkt werden. Das Hotel ist jedoch einen strammen 30min. Fußmarsch von der eigentlichen Innenstadt von Palma entfernt. Wer nicht gerne am Yachthafen entlangschlendern möchte muss den Bus nehmen... Der Fitnessraum verdient seinen Namen allerdings nicht. Nur vier Geräte und teilweise festgerostet... dabei sehr stickige Luft, da das innenliegende Schwimmbad daneben ist. Dennoch ist das Hotel empfehlenswert.
