It was amazing! We went there for our 2 year anniversary. The staff was outstanding!! They brought us a plate with chocolate brownies, chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of wine & a white chocolate square with Happy 2nd Anniversary written on it! What a wonderful touch! The view from our room was spectacular and we were still only a 2 minute walk to the main lodge & waterfront. Had dinner at the Moose's Nook the first night & what a meal!! So delicious & prompt, curtious, friendly wait staff as well! We ate in the Emerald Lounge the second night & again what a meal!! Again wait staff were prompt, curtious & so friendly! Used the heated outdoor pool & it was so nice, then had a 90 minute relaxation massage! So good! Used the steam room & showers in the locker rooms & they were so clean & pristine but yet very inviting!!
Definitely a must do again!!
Upon arriving, the view of the lake was gorgeous. The front desk staff was very friendly and explained everything clearly. The room itself was large and the fireplace was easy to operate. The restaurant had a great breakfast menu and the outdoor hot tub was adorable and perfect. Highly recommended.
We stayed at Sawridge Inn overnight the weekend of November 15-16. Upon arrival we were advised that there was a hockey competition in the area and many were staying at the hotel so we were asked if we wanted to pay 20$ for an upgrade to a room that was further away from the pool and dining area. We are glad we did as we were updated to a newer renovated room with two queen (instead of double beds). The room was very quite, cozy and very clean. Our room was ready for us upon arrival so we were able to drop off our stuff and walk into town. The walk was about 15 minutes and due to it being the start of the ski season was quite empty. We didn't eat supper at the hotel but wish we had as the restaurant we went to in town wasn't very good. We did have some wine and the olive paste when we came back after dinner and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We had the buffet breakfast before heading out on the Sunday and for 16$ including taxes it was worth the money. We had a freshly made omelet (very good) and juice along with some other stuff from the buffet. The service was excellent from the front desk to the restaurant staff. We did go in the pool and whirlpool and both were very clean. The only thing I would suggest as to maybe have some pamphlets in French everything was in English which was fine with us but being from Montreal it would have been nice to have some French information in case it was needed. We would stay here again.
We are very picky and the hotel was absolutely outstanding. The best of any mid-range hotel we have ever stayed in. In addition to the room and the staff, the food in the attached restaurant was extremely good (and we are foodies). We expected to be trying different places in town but ended up eating there all four nights.
Highly recommend this property to anyone.

We recently stayed at the Lobstick Lodge while in Jasper to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was the first weekend of the snowboard/ski season thus the hotel was not packed, but still busy. We found the staff to be very attentive, friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were great.
We found the facilities perfect for our young family (two boys aged 7 to 9), the pool was well maintained as were the three outdoor hot tubs. The pool was a bit cold, but our boys had no complainants.
We stayed in a kitchenette room and the hotel provided everything that we could possibly have needed and the appliances were all in good condition and clean. The beds were in a separate room, so after the kids were down for the night there was a place my wife and I could relax without fear of waking the kids.
Highly recommend this hotel for those wanting to travel with a young family and want to keep costs low and make their own meals.
Big room and bathroom. Rocky Mountaineer drops passengers and bags to this hotel which is a real plus. Good breakfast.
Quite a walk to town but we are fit and that was no trouble. There are a couple of restaurants nearby attached to the lodges but we chose to eat in the town.
