For me it’s a stop over for the Maldives so I’m not comparing it to private Villas etc but it’s used a lot for local workers and understandably air crew, it’s OK but bar / pool staff don’t get the need for customer service and the place is a little basic but clean and adequate. It’s noisy but it’s going to be as it’s literally in the airport and pick up for island boats. Take some earplugs and you’ll be fine

Bed linen smelled of old sweat. Charged twice for stay- we pre paid, then arrived and were asked to pay again by a very officious lady at the counter. Next day a kind front desk employee apologised and said he had picked this up and would reimburse the second payment -but it could take up to a week to process- no reimbursement yet?

Hulhule Airport Hotel was a great way to wrap up our Maldives vacation. Property is beautiful and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful views from our 3rd floor room and the top floor restaurant. Very nice pool. This is the only spot to enjoy a beer/cocktail in Male. Breakfast buffet top floor is excellent but downstairs pub food is mediocre. Located about a half mile from the airport but not safely walkable at all due to construction, no sidewalks, trash. The property’s beach is pretty from a distance but some garbage on the sand up close. Overall, highly recommend on the way in/out of Maldives.

Very slow service. The power went out in the property and after it had come back in some areas, our room was still not back on but it took three trips to the front desk for them to send someone to the area to take a look.

The hotel staff had a shuttle bus ready to pick us up from the airport; from the moment we arrived at the hotel, staff was very generous, helpful and cordial; our check in and out process was quick; breakfast was included and the buffet was delicious. Our overnight stay was wonderful, thank you!!

Good for a night-over before you head to a resort
No-one was waiting for us @ Male International Airport Arrival to guide us to the Hotel. There is a free bus which can take you from Airport to the hotel, but no sign-boards where the bus waits etc. The hotel itself is good & the service is quite okay for a day’s stay before or after the flight. Rooms are comfortable & clean. The food is tasty & of good quality.

Everything was good at this hotel. Food was good, hotel was clean. Finding the shuttle from the airport, directions were not clear. And at 830a, they were doing some loud construction outside the room.

Staff are a shining star!
While not the fanciest accommodations, we booked this hotel out of necessity but really ended up liking it. Staff make the place, really! They are all so friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend!

It was very close to the airport which was great right before our flight. They had great amenities, something for everyone. Breakfast and lunch were included! Very nice hotel!

Lovely last night in the maldives

Great stop over
Great little place to stop at. Had all the facilities. It's a shame the all inclusive didn't seem to include alcohol when I was there but the food was very good and staff were lovely.

Well located, but dated hotel.
Well located hotel with free transport to and from the hotel. Good place if you need a place to sleep for an early morning flight. Hotel itself is dated and service is ok, but no where near to the standards you get from the island resorts. Poolside bar is reasonable value and the A La Carte restaurant on the 4th floor had a good selection for dinner and buffet breakfast. We paid c. $360 for one night, which is a bit steep. Overall it did the job, but I think we would try an alternative next time.

Great night stay
The hotel is really close to the airport in Male and very convenient for early morning transfers to other islands if your international flight arrives too late for seaplane or boat transfer to your island resort. There is a shuttle from the airport that comes every 20 minutes. Check in is simple and the front desk staff were polite and friendly. They had our seaplane flight information for the next day all set and have clear instructions on what time to meet at the lobby. The staff offered 2 glasses of apple juice to cool down. The room is clean and had all we needed for a good nights rest. They had a fruit platter and chocolates at the room which was a nice touch. Breakfast buffet was good; plenty to choose from and also a cook was available to make eggs waffles and pancakes on order. Wait staff friendly and very attentive. Overall a great transfer hotel!

Convenient due to location but that’s about it. Everything is way overpriced and the hotel is more of a 3.5 star by North American/European standards. You’re paying for the location, definitely not the quality of the hotel.
