The hotel is very modern and comfortable very close to two beaches, the reception area was clean and very relaxing, the pool ( a bit small for three teens, but great for cooling off, and with the beach so close sufficient) area was also modern and landscaped. The restaurant next door offered good reasonably priced food with more friendly service.
Attended a wedding at the castle, hotel is in perfect location for the castle, less than 5 mins walk, hotel was about 2 mins from spar & all bars & restaurants but I didn't hear any noise at night, area is very hilly & the streets are all covered in cobbles, ladies I suggest flats or low wedges but this hotel was at the top of the hill where most bars/resturants are and this was flatter. Our hotel became the meeting point for all our friends due to location & its courtyard area sheltered with grapes that was accessible from the street. Theres 3 entrances from 3 surrounding roads, you get a night key to let yourselfs in after 10pm. Room was basic but very clean, aircon wasn't brilliant, staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly, speak a variety of languages very well. Breakfast is simple but nice. Has a small pool and area with great views of the mountains. Hotel offers shuttle service to/from airport 25euros pp each way, email hotel & they will organise it, this was very well organised with no problems. it's about an hour from the airport. hotel has a lift to all floors, the pool is up a flight of stairs, the lift does not take you all the way to the pool. Hotel has lots of local info & vouchers/coupons for bars/resturants/attractions. I recommend visiting the cable car ride up the mountain & boat trip accross the lake. Lake has small stoney areas to sunbathe & swim in lake. beware of the 100euro fine for being drunk in St. loved it, would def go again and use this hotel

Our stay at Hotel Peler was excellent and would definately go back if was staying in Lake Garda in future. Owner could not have been more helpful or accommodating during our short stay. Perfect location with amazing views of the lake and close to all bars and restaurants. Room was spotless and cleaned daily. Friends who were staying in the area at the same time, commented how they wish they'd booked into Hotel Peler also as it was truly excellent value for money

Lovely small family run hotel which was full but not crowded. Staff all very friendly from reception to maids to breakfast. Waiter even remembered each tables different requests. Lovely breakfast either inside or outside overlooking the picturesque gardens.
Comfortable room with everything expected and balcony with mountain views.
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would stay here again.

This hotel has one of the most incredible views I've ever woken up to! Just to draw back those curtains and see Lake Garda in all it's glory.. wow!
The second best thing about this hotel is its staff, it was my partners birthday whilst we were there and they left prosecco and cake in our room when we arrived.. with a candle! it was the perfect touch. Thank you.
Also we wanted to book a boat trip from the hotel and even though we didn't take it due to bad weather, the staff were amazing in helping us organise it.
Breakfast was great (with the most amazing creme brulee.. who am i to say no to brulee for breakfast?!)
The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable.
Would recommend this hotel to many friends.
The location was a bit out of town, but the regular tourist bus was spot on and on time (good for italy!) and also we walked into town a couple of times, longish walk but so picturesque. Finally we got a taxi from town one night and that was a bit pricey, so would avoid that if you're able to take the bus instead.
I would book this hotel if you're a couple, probably not suited for little children as felt quite adult whilst we were there. but i'm sure they'd be welcoming.
oh and free/easy parking too!

We had a wonderful stay in hotel Internazionale, the views are brilliant and it is peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, booking airport transfers and offering advice. The room was clean and a good size. I had read that the walk was a bit much from town but it isn't far at all, a few minutes and very close to the castle where we had a wedding.

Was great arriving on a boat to see the hotel as we approached.
Being central you might expect this to be noisy, but we found it fine and noise stopped by 11pm each night.
Close to all amenities, not far from cable car so look this aint five star, but it is fine and does what it says on the tin

On the eastern shore of Lake Garda, Malcesine has been a popular tourist destination since Roman times. Today, it bustles with life as cafés, bars, restaurants, and boutiques line the narrow, cobbled streets that lead to a picturesque harbor. Hiking trails nearby provide splendid views of the area's flora and fauna, as well as of the lake and Alps. Sailing and windsurfing are also popular activities.
