Pavillón Restaurant - A breakfast buffet and a la carte lunch are served in this restaurant overlooking the sea. In summer, the terrace is available for alfresco dining. The menu highlights Mediterranean and international cuisines. The sunny restaurant, surrounded by palm trees and tropical plants, has cane furniture, marble floors, and a large print of a parrot on the wall.

Café Royal - Innovative Mediterranean cuisine is served in this gourmet dining room with ocean and garden views. Decor includes blue mirrored “icicles” and a color scheme of sky-blue and white. In summer, fresh fish is barbecued outdoors.

Grill Casino - Located in the casino, this restaurant has a Spanish and international menu. Highlights include Andalusian Gazpacho, Chateaubriand with Bearnaise Sauce, and, for dessert, Mango and Coconut Tart.

Yuan - Serves a variety of Asian dishes, including Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. Seats 90 people.

Piano Bar - Live entertainment is presented nightly. The room has coral walls, black-marble accents, and green-and-orange sofas. A terrace overlooks the sea.

“Nice indoor pool”

We spent 6 days there in the beginning of November 2011. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful for advice and directions. The view to the sea and the overall surroundings was very nice, weather sunny all the time. Access to other places was well marked so to get about from the hotel was easy. A communal bus is going right in front of the hotel to Malaga with very reasonable fare. There is a rocky beach and a sandy beach. The garden is well kept and the breakfast area had a great view. The breakfast as such was nothing special. The indoor pool is great, warm all year round. The night club had bad air-conditioning, and a stuffy odor. During the as such great flamenco show the staff was too noisy and disturbed by loud talking and moving the customers seated in the back of the hall. Not exactly a 5 star hotel but a reasonably good one for a 4 star rating.

Area recommendations

The area outside the city is marvelous with beautiful sceneries. A must is to rent a car and travel to Granada to see Al Hambra and the hillsides there. Gibraltar is also quite interesting.

“A pleasant stay”

A hotel which soon became "home". The staff were helpful and efficient. The room comfortable and everything worked. We enjoyed the bufet breakfast on the terrace and thought it good value. The buffet dinner was also good, but the hot course was a bit dissapointing. Spent much of our time on the sunbeds in the garden just above the sea as it was so hot we didn't fancy going out in the heat of the day.

“Nice but you sure can find better”

clean, nice, close to the center of life of Puerto Marina in Benelamadena. Very worth of the visit (Puerto Madina). I wasn´t fully convinced of the 5 star rating of the hotel. yet the location on the ocean is nice.

I ate at El Mero resturante recommended by taxi driver in Puerto Marina. I ate Paella a Spanish local dish of rice with cooked fish and sea fruits. was delicious and amazing view.

“Great views!”

If you're not expecting a 5 star hotel, this one is great value for its money! I was pleasantly surprised by the size of our standard room and the views from our balcony left us breathless. We were on the 10th floor and watched some spectacular sunsets while enjoying a nice bottle of wine. The pools were almost empty, but we enjoyed having the entire lounging area for ourselves. The Club Sandwich was delicious! Don't go to the rocky beach, it's not worth it. The breakfast buffet was very good and the panorama from the terrace tables make it even more the better. For nightlife, Puerto Marina and Torremolinos are a short taxi ride away. My husband and I felt like we were in a mini week-end honeymoon! The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. For 3 or 4 days, it's the perfect relaxing and fun place.

Area recommendations

Puerto Marina has a lovely and fun ambiance. We went to the Pub and it was full of English people, giving it lively flair. There are bars, discotheques, restaurants. Torremolinos is also a fun place to go out.

“Nice View, Nice Room”

Views are amazing if you can get the west side, rooms are clean and comfy. Front desk staff not very friendly but cleaning staff are excellent. A little bit of a walk to the main part of the city but close to transit so it worked out.

“Torrequebrada Hotel - Benalmadena”

We have stayed at this hotel before and as previous our stay was very good. My only negative was that the time it takes to check-in is very slow, regardless of only being 2 people before me - granted this is not the end of the world and more annoying than anything else.

The hotel was good. But there was no private beach (like all hotels in this area). And the water was so cold that we could not swim in..

“very nice place”

The hotel was very clean and I found the bed more comfortable than most hotels. We had breakfast each morning in the restaurant and were warmly greeted and served coffee. The cleaning staff was really friendly and did an excellent job of keeping our room. Our room was a good size and the balcony was so nice with a table and two chairs. I liked that the closet had lots of storage for hanging and with drawers - the room had its own safe. The hotel is not in the centre of town however there is great bus service right outside. The bus is prompt and frequent and a taxi was cheap when we took it. I walked it as well and didn't mind the distance early or late in the day. There are stores within easy walking distance but if you look out your balcony view, it feels lovely and remote. There is the convenience of a close sandy beach, a quiet rocky beach or the nice yard with well kept gardens and pool. We had free wi-fi in the room which is a nice bonus. I have no complaints at all.

“Would definitely revisit!”

Nice enough hotel - not 5* and not much to look at from the outside but the pool area, BBQ nights and area were amazing. Free parking was a bonus. Beds a little uncomfortable and walls a bit thin but you get over that. Would definitely go back, ideal place to be with a 7 month old.
