Very hot, lovely swimming pools, nice beach

Posted 14-Jul-2014
Pros: Great pools and food!
Cons: Would have been nice to have tea and coffee in your room. Wifi was pretty terrible, rubbish even. And a few extra plugs in the room would help.
Location: Excellent location. Taxis were good from airport and back. 18-20 euros.
Too many kids running around, good for families. Food was great. Beds in the room are two singles pushed together - beware, fell between them on the first night, hehe.

A hotel of two parts

Posted 13-May-2014
Pros: Close to Malaga airport, great swimming pools
Cons: Renovate the old block. It seriously lets the hotel down
Book with caution. This hotel comprises two distinct parts. The new (main) building looks great and easily lives up to the star rating seen on most review sites. However, the older building is a 4 story 70s style building that desperately needs updating. Our room was on the 4th floor of this building. The view was great, overlooking the pool, but that is where the compliments end. The decor was tatty, the double bed in the reservation was two singles. The accommodation for 4 comprised the two singles and two tired old sofa beds - one of which sported a big iron burn mark. The undersides of the window ledges had been heavily graffitied by previous guests, unseen I suspect by cleaning staff. Lesson learnt. If I go back to this hotel (somewhat unlikely) I will make sure I am very specific about being housed in the main building.

Nice hotel

It was a last minute booking but it was a very nice and clean hotel. The only thing was that I requested a queen bed, but was given to singles pushed together (that didn't stay together). There was no place to eat drink pass 11pm and no room service. Other than that, the hotel was good.

Could have done better food as chicken and pork are a bit boring, no kettle in the room and the sheets only changed once during our stay.

Great location

It's a bit dissapointing to find out after arrival that the hotel consists of 2 parts: high quality nice part, which is the one shown on all pictures and lower quality less nice part, which was never mentioned. Obviously, we were given the room in less atractive part - it was definitely NOT 4 starts, we've gone for when booking. We still loved the services, food was fantastic, swimming pools are top class. We enjoyed our stay but only because we did not spend much time in hotel room.

Never Again

Reminiscent of a Care Home , appropriate to the elderly and infirm. Appalling standards of cleanliness , no information provided in the room about the hotel , it's services or otherwise . Entertainment akin to a Tea Dance .

Noisy hotel!! Stay away from it.

Posted 10-Sep-2013
Pros: the people are nice
Cons: the service could be improved but especially reducing the noise
I was on a short holiday break, 5 days only as I needed to relax. What a surprise when I arrived to the hotel is that I never experienced such loud atmosphere anywhere in a hotel in Spain. I have travelled a lot around Spain and visited many different hotels but this was crowded everywhere you go, in the restaurant or to the different pools. The people are very very noisy. When having breakfast, lunch or dinner in the dining room you can not hear yourself talking as there is so much noise around. All the kids are screaming. It is really tiring and not relaxing. There are 3 pools but they are all very busy and you need to wake up very early to grab a lounge chair otherwise you will miss out. Not nice!! The food was ok, it was a buffet but very simple food. All in all, I will not come back and one more thing. You have to pay for your beach towel, Wifi connection (be careful because you can only use it in one device at the time) it was also very poor signal. If this was a 4 stars hotel, all this should be included. Again very disappointing and all in all, it is very expensive when you add up all the costs. I have met French groups, German and Irish people and they all felt the same about the high cost and noisiness!!

Disapponting

Posted 10-Jun-2013
Pros: Entertainment staff
Cons: Room
Location: Good
The common areas of the hotel were well kept however our room could never have been described as 4 star, it was very dated and there were ants everywhere. Upon arriving to check in we were told that our room was ready, then that it wouldn't be ready for an hour, we waited and were given the keys only to find the maid cleaning and to be told that it would be another 20 mins All in all very disappointing

Ok for short breaks

Pros: where it was
Location: location good
Was not pleased with the pick up service at Malaga airport, too long hanging about and sitting on the coach. When we arrived the rep told us to stand over on the side until others had arrived seems they were waiting for another flight to arrive. The we were taken downstairs to where the coaches were and said she would be 5 mins we must of sat on that coach for about half an hour with the engine running. Not a very good start to a holiday.
