Dining

Rio Real Restaurant is the resort’s fine dining restaurant, also designed by Pascua Ortega, with panoramic windows overlooking the course. Refined and creative Mediterranean-International haute cuisine and regional specialities are served either inside the restaurant, which has floor to ceiling windows, or al fresco, overlooking the golf course.

Dishes include rice broth with lobster, risotto of monkfish, black pasta with giant red prawns, and the roast leg of Castilian lamb. The restaurant is complimented by a wine cellar offering some of the finest Spanish and International wines in the world. The restaurant opens exclusively for groups and it is necessary to book in advance.

The Golf Club Lounge and Club de Golf Bar serves afternoon tea, and light meals and snacks throughout the day. Guests may also enjoy a relaxing pre- or post-dinner drink. Opened everyday from 07.30 am until 22.00 pm.

Golf Course:

Opened in 1965 and located on gently rolling terrain, the 18 hole, par 72 golf course was designed by Javier Arana. Major renovation work has recently been undertaken and included the replanting of fairways, new greens, enlargement of buggy paths, and refurbishment to the clubhouse and its facilities. The course is considered to be one of the top three on the Costa del Sol, where there are more than 40 courses.
