“Ok...for low season.”

The hotel is well located, 20' drive form Malaga airport and only 5 km from Fuengirola. It was actually quite full although we went in November. We were given an appartment on the ground floor although we had a baby, a car, and a pram.The apartment was clean and well equipped for a 3stars accomodation. I was not happy with the service as I had requested a cot, a high chair and a bath tub for my 6 months old baby and nothing was there when I arrived. I called twice from my room requesting the items and eventually they arrived after 90'. We were puzzled with the 3 doors we had to open every time we wanted to get in to our appartment. So keep your valuables safe!!! Beware of the "Gran Mundo restaurante Chino". It was our worst chinesse take awat ever.

“Would return again”

This is a hotel resort and the rooms are actually small apartments. It included a small kitchen with a washer and basic kitchen dishes/utensils. It was nice to cook a warm dinner for ourselves in the room. The hotel is off the freeway and not within walking distance to much in town. It is within 10 minutes of Fuengirola which is where there is a mall, grocery store and more night life. We enjoyed staying here because of the distance from city noise. We stayed here in the middle of our two week trip through Spain and it was a much needed 'quiet' hotel. Malaga is 20-30 minutes away and is pricey by taxi. We spent a day in Malaga after we drove there. Not much information at the hotel about bus or other public transportation into Malaga from Mijas (where the hotel actually is). Small market on site at the hotel. Our only complaint was the lack of free internet access (wireless or otherwise). The room was ample and there was a dining table too. Plenty of parking available nearby. Staff was very friendly and spoke great English. The concierge greeted us with sangria at check-in and provided plenty of information of what is available nearby. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach within minutes from the hotel. There is a small path from the hotel and a tunnel under the roadway that leads to the beach. I would return here and recommend it. We were pleased to stay there.

Had a lovely time at Los Amigos Beach Club, lovely apartments, clean and very well equipped. Friendly staff and good entertainment, hope to visit again.

“Just keeps getting better!”

Los Amigos has become our second home over the years. Its is a Diamond Resorts property and is of very high standard. We had a 1 bedrommed apartment which was suitable for people with mobility difficulties (ramped and disabled car parking space, straight out onto the pool terrace). As the apt was a ground floor, we had a gated terrace (great for kiddies) and a small private terrace with 2 sunbeds. As the complex was very busy, this was great. There are 2 amazing pools plus kiddies pools. The indoor pool is under refurbishment to include a sauna and jaccuzi and will be finished by Oct/Nov 2011. The are bars on site and nearby as are eating places. There is a regular bus in the main season but I would suggest a car because it is approx 2 miles either way to Fuengirola or La Cala. There is a small beach which is quite pebbly. There are no amenities on this beach but the La Cala beach is very user friendly. Can't wait to go back again. (2 visits so far this year!!)

All in all it was a good hotel but we can fault it in one aspect in that the towels were changed only once during our 5 days stay (in only one of the two bathrooms) which did not impress us at all. It was difficult to get to the hotel as the sat nav did not recognise the address but was made easier later when the hotel receptionist gave us the coordinates which i thought should have been on their website to facilitate customers arrival. The indoor swimming pool was great for the children. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Truly excellent! Clean, Comfortable and good price - this was one of the few occasions when the hotel exceeded my expectations - will return. Only niggle was that they would not extend check out unless we paid for an extra day.

“Good accommodation in convenient position for coast resorts”

A small complex of studio and one/two bed apartments. Nice and private. Good choice of children's activities. Convenient for visiting Fuengirola, Puerto Banus, Marbella, Benalmadena, Mijas, Malaga and Ronda.
