“Near everything”
Tucked away just off the main shopping/promenade St in Malaga. Great little hotel with use of hotel laptop in room. Very clean and modern with good service. Set in the main restaurant/tapas/bar area. Would recommend to anyone.
“A gem!”
Lovely hotel within walking distance of everything to see in Malaga, Great having a laptop in the room to look things up. Great bathroom too.
“In-room laptop makes all the difference!”
Was @ this hotel for 9 days in Oct. Perfect location for visiting my daughter. Steps to Calle Larios, one of the main streets in Malaga. Clean, but not plush room. Minibar ridiculously overpriced, so bring your own snacks. Best thing is the in-room laptop; I used it to make additional travel arrangements, scout out shopping opportunities, etc. Couldn't have gotten by without it. Would definitely stay here again. In general, I found that the star rating is a little more generous in Spain than in the US. This hotel is rated 4 stars, but in the US I think it would be more like a 2 1/2 -3 star hotel. Nevertheless, would still recommend it.
“BEST Location and excellent value”
You will not be sad that you booked this hotel! It is located right in the middle of everything. It is so easy to go out and then stop back by the hotel throughout the day to use the restroom, take a nap or what not. The rooms were very clean and came with the usual 4 star amenities. There are many nearby small seafood tapas joints that are excellent. This is right in the middle of great shopping too. I cannot say enough about how great the location is. The hotel is in a pedestrian only zone so to get to the hotel you have to park about 2-3 blocks away at one of the nearby parking centers. Be sure to tell them that you are staying at the hotel because you get a discount on the parking. You will not need a car in this location. They have nice rooms for families as well.
“Excellent hotel for tourist attractions, customer service and quality of rooms”
Had a short 4 stay break at this hotel. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were clean, well thought out with modern shower, hairdryer, fridge, room laptop (ideal for flight checking in or just checking your emails - no charge). Great choice at breakfast with both cooked and continental breakfast available. Ideally sited just off a main shopping pedestrianised area. Walking distance to all the main tourist sites, eg Cathedral, Pablo Picasso Museum, etc. 20 minute walk to the beach, train and bus station. Will definitely go back and stay at this hotel. Malaga is an ideal place for both a cultural and beach holiday and with the bus and train station so close, day trips to surrounding areas are very accessible. We went by bus to Ronda and Granada - both towns not to be missed. A really enjoyable stay.
“Malaga central hotel”
Hotel is in excellent location in centre of Malaga with good tapas bars only 100 metres away. All main tourist attractions are within 5 mins walk. Dont miss out on local beaches which are 30 mins walk away and offer good bars and restaurants
“Not as modern as they say”
Sensors in hallways very annoying as you have to be directly under them to trigger the lights to turn on. This leads to walking down many darkened hallways. Room was spacious with a lot of light. However, all rooms smell of cigarette smoke even though they are labeled as "non-smoking." Front desk insisted there was nothing they could do and gave us a bottle of freshener spray.
“Great family hotel in the heart of Malaga”
Great little hotel close to major sights, dining and shopping. Very clean and well maintained. Nice features like in-room laptop and bikes for use. Good breakfast. Desk staff competent but not too outgoing.
“Very Impressed”
The hotel is in the centre of town and near most of the attractions which are within 5-10 minutes walking distance. The shower in the hotel is amazing. Shame breakfast is not included. Definitely book the hotel transfers through Expedia, as it is MUCH cheaper then getting a taxi. The free wine is very nice and the service was very good. Food is not cheap, almost double the price of England. There are some nice reasonable places to eat but you need to go on the back streets to find them. Smooy, frozen yoghurt shop was nice.
“Spacious, convenient location, and high tech”
A very spacious room and bathroom! The bed are fairly comfortable. The drain of the sink was slow, but since I only had a short stay, I didn't bother changing rooms. The shower was great; wonderful water pressure, generous hot water, and multiple water jets. A great asset is the free Wi-Fi and especially the laptop in each room! (There's no business center, so if you need something printed you have to email it to the receptionist.) Laptop has Skype ready for use. The lights in the halls are controlled by motion sensors, so it takes getting used to (could be considered creepy/scary). It is on a side street right behind the Mango store in the promenade. The promenade and Plaza is filled with banks, stores and tourist-filled restaurants/cafes. Area seemed safe. At night, the promenade and plaza are cleaned thoroughly but I wasn't bothered by any noise of the sanitation workers/trucks.
