“Best hotel in Playa Mar”

Great hotel, Good service and very clean, modern looking hotel directly overlooking promenade and beach. staff fantastic, ideal for family or business trips.

“Outstanding hotel”

The Isabel is a great hotel in an equally great location. Friendly staff, comfortable and very clean rooms, good breakfast choice and located opposite the beach. We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel Isabel to anyone. Just Perfect.

“Convenient hotel in Torremolinos”

Very comfortable, traditional hotel. Impeccable and fast service with very friendly staff. Conveniently located just in front of the boardwalk and 100m away from a Mercadona supermarket, useful when traveling with a small child. Would definitely return.

“"Room with a view"”

This hotel was fine for a one night stopover or for someone who doesn't spend much time in the hotel room. The room was small but the balcony with the sea view was spectacular and kept us from feeling penned in. The location was right near the beach so a good deal for those who spend most of their time there. The one thing we really missed was having a coffee maker in the room. It was the ony hotel on our trip that didn't supply one and we like our coffee first thing and tea last thing. Also there was no fridge in the room and no place to get ice.

“Extremely satisfied with this hotel.”

We picked up that hotel based on its review on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. Were we to return to Torremolinos, we would not hesitate to stay at that hotel again.

“Very good hotel and location”

It was in general good. A couple of strange things: the daily rent fees for the safe and fridge( otherwise used to be a minibar). When we quickly grabed a couple of cakes instead of having the proper breakfast, due to a tour early in th emorning, were attentioned by personnel that these items will be charged on us, the breakfast was otherwise included and everything pre-paid. Pool needs some refurbishment. But in general OK.

“good location, great price - highly recommended for the quiet holiday makers”

Hotel Isabel is right across the street from the beach at playa playmar, in a quiet location. It is approximately a 15-20 minute walk (uphill) into the main center of torremollinos. The hotel itself is clean with friendly staff and definately a great price. Small pool and limited number of lounge chairs. Wouldn't recommend for children or the party crowd as there isn't much there for either. Very happy with our stay. A grocery store is a half a block from the back of the hotel. My only complaint would be the lack of a fridge and lack of info for getting around in the area and the cost of the taxi from the airport - 18 Euros (only 6 minutes away). There is a bus (#2) that takes you from/to the bus station, near the train station and the center of town right across the street. There is a lift from playa bandillio and the more active area about 10 minutes walk along the waterfront. There is a tourist information place a block away. For those who don't know....(like us) the Med is COLD even in June.

Area recommendations
Playa Bandillio is a area of the beach with lots of nightlife, shops and restaurants with a lift to the top by the center of town. Playa Playamar is a quiet area with restaurants and few shops and a 10 minute walk to the lift or a 15-20 minute walk uphill to town.
Getting around
There is no need to get a taxi from the airport or renting a car, if you only want to keep to the coast areas. There is a train that travels from the Malaga airport to Fuengirola. The beach at playa bandillio is directly down from the town center and there is a lift from the beach level for .50 euro.

“Fab 5 Days”

I found this hotel on Expedia and checked the reviews on Trip Adviser. Everything looked as if it would be wonderful and I wasn't dissapointed. Every roon has a sea view although some of them are only side on. The buffet breakfast was excellent. All the staff I came across couldn't have done more. I had a problem with my safe and it was fixed in 5 minutes! I'm looking forward to going again next year.
