A very relaxing week

Posted 15-May-2014
We were very impressed with the.hotel, our suite was perfect. Food choice was very good, staff very friendly. Excellent hotel if you have children, everything catered for. Shuttle bus ran constantly up and down the hill 2 Beach World. The only negative for us, nothing else around. At least 15/20 mins drive to centre of Benelmedina or Fuengorola, 20 mins walk 2 station. No where 2 walk, hills very steep. About 15min walk 2 the beach from Beach World.

Nice hotel

Cons: loose the deposit for the TV remove and provide free wifi
Great facilities and good for kids, however, you feel nickel and dimmed even when on an all inclusive package.

Stunning hotel with some negatives

Posted 08-Apr-2014
Amazing hotel with stunning views. Negative points: only person on reception during the whole stay which meant long waits, half board visitors be mindful that drinks not included at dinner time- including water or soft drink! Hotel is a but out the way who are looking for a lively/busy atmosphere

Quite Inconvenient for food, beach and walking

Posted 09-Jan-2014 on Hotels.com
Service was below standard across the board and the hotel nickeled and dimed guest for everything - for eg. Euro 10 for a TV remote (they don't provide one by default), Wifi was another Euro 16 and even though it lists an Indoor pool as an amenity, there is yet another charge to use it (which doesn't include the outdoor pools. Dining was extremely expensive Euro 120 to 400 for buffet for a family of four. But above all, even though the hotel is close to the beach, there isn't a walking path and you have to go through 4 to 5 different parking lots uphill and downhill on the road to come out of the hotel. Additionally, it is quite far from the some of the better restaurants in town.

Great range of facilities

Posted 15-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel has a great range of good quality and well maintainted facilities on site (spa, gym, shop, reading room in addition to pool area) as well as the beach club facilities at its sister hotel which is a short walk or bus ride away. An excellent range of food and the pool area while busy never seemed too crowded. The huge walkways that have space for enclosures for parakeets, terrapins and a goldfish pond mean there is a feeling of spaciousness. The disappointment was that having booked a junior suite and expecting two twin bedrooms what we got was a room with one bedroom containing two double beds and a single sofa bed - a bit of a challenge for 3 teenage girls and their aunty!

Great holiday, will go back again says villa snob!

Posted 04-Aug-2013
Our room was very spacious with a separate living room, dining table and chairs, breakfast bar and kitchen area. The balcony was very wide, being served by 2 sets of patio doors (living room and bedroom). There was no noise, no people running up and down corridors, etc. The pool area was lovely - just right - with enough sunbeds, even in the middle of the day. The Beach Club was served well with shuttle buses and was a change of scenery - the flumes were very tame though, so if you are expecting a water park, it isn't one! Go to Aqualand in Torremolinos! The food in the buffet was fine - enough choice for fussy ones. The themed Chinese restaurant was less good, and I wouldn't bother again! There was entertainment each eve which was easy to watch, not in-your-face. There were activities during the day too but unlike other past holidays, there was no pressure to have to join in. Everything was nice and relaxing. The snack bar during the day was great and was replenished frequently. I was lucky enough to have a premium brands wristband for drinks, think it might be an Expedia thing. There was a shop for gifts/snacks/groceries, and also a large games room with pool, air hockey, machines, bowling - extra cost of course, but kept the kids happy. There was a cinema showing kids films periodically and a disco. As a villa snob, I was really happy with the whole holiday and would definitely go back again. The kids loved it and said it was their favourite holiday since Florida!

Good all inclusive

Posted 25-Jul-2013
Pros: Pools and food
Cons: Service and info
Good hotel but lacked info like how to turn the lights on needed to put your room card in a box on the wall not marked. Not much info about the bus to the beach also no bbell boy or anyonne to greet you. All inclusive meals are fine poools are great and a great place for families with young kids. However four days enough or boredom would set in
