“New Year in Marbella”

A lovely hotel in a great location. Very well kept and good facilities. The sea-view rooms are the best. We found the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much to ask. Breakfast time was veritable banquet, you name it they had it! It is a place more suited to couples and the general age range seemed to be 40+ but that might have just been the time of year. We didnt go the The New Years banquet as it was going to be a fairly reserved event and very expensive for what was on offer. Many places nearby were offering New Years Eve functions at a set price and well worth investigating.

“25th wedding anniversary treat”

This was our second visit to the Don Pepe. We enjoyed it so much a couple of years ago that we decided to return this year for our 25th wedding anniversary. We certainly did not regret this decision. The location, facilitates and staff are fabulous. Our special requirements were attended to perfectly. The highlight was a special meal at the Calima restaurant on the night of our anniversary that will live long in the memory. We have no hesitation recommending this hotel and we will be back!

“5-day visit to Marbella”

We found Hotel Melia Don Pepe to be of very good standard, real 5-star and the staff very helpful and polite. Our room on the 6th floor was lovely with beautiful views of the hotel gardens and pools and the sea (to the front) and lovely montains (to the back). Breakfast was very good with a wide choice of hot and cold (continental) food; the staff were very helpful and the place was very clean. Hotel location was excellent with direct access to the seafront promenad via a private gate. Nearby restaurants: we found Da Bruno was excellent, but cannot recommend Carnecero or Santiago. Altogether we enjoyed our stay very much and would like to visit again in the future.

“One of the best hotels ive stayed in”

Fantastic stay, cant fault anything. We had a sea view room on the 5th floor with great views, and the breakfast buffet was amazing 10/10. Would have no problems going back.

“Very Impressed”

We had a wonderful holiday in late October at the Gran Melia Don Pepe. Our superior seaview room was very comfortable and clean. We didn't eat our evening meals at the hotel and some of the restaurents were closed it being close season. However, the location of the hotel on the southern end of Marbella's wonderful seafront meant that a huge choice of eating establishments were only a short walk away. The old town in Marbella was a real treat and we found different little streets with their shops, bars and restaurants every time we visited. Hotel pool and facilities were very good although the drinks were a little on the pricey side but the breakfast buffet and service were excellent. Would definately go again (particularly early / late season). No need to go half or full board.
