“Town Centre Location”
Hotel located a few minutes from railway station. Only 4 stops from Malaga Airport so very convenient and easy to get to Airport. Cost 1.40 euros each way. Trains every 20 minutes. Although in centre of town and very convenient for town, if you wanted to regularly go to the beach, this could be a bit of a problem because it was quite a hike down and up from the hotel, via many steps or there is a lift for 50 cents each way. For travel to other towns via train or bus, excellent location, and as we like walking, the distance from the beach was not a problem to us, but was for some. Some noise late at night from outside the hotel bar, particularly if there were a few all inclusive guests out there drinking until 1 am.
“I will definitely go back”
Great value for money, will are already looking at next year :-)
“All Close at Hand”
This hotel is so convenient within a stones throw from the train station which is a 15 minute trip from Malaga airport. Torremolinos has all you need and if you walk down the steps or take the lift to the beach you can walk for miles toward Benalmedane port which is a lovely. The staff made us a cold buffet dinner as we arrived at 11pm at night and I was very impressed with this as well as being able to leave bags and shower in the evening when we had vacated our room at 10am. All in all a great place and a good hotel.
“Great stay.”
Great location, close to the beach and to the train station. It take only 20 min to center of Malaga and to the airport for only 1.60 euro. Great pool and other facilities. Beautiful wiev from balconeria .
“A good all-rounder”
Stayed at this hotel for the last four years. Very popular for German guests with the English being a minority. A large 10-floor complex with just four 6-person lifts. During this stay two of these lifts were out-of-order on five separate occasions causing 5 to 10 minute waits (even worse around breakfast time). For the last week in September they closed the roof top swimming pool and gym, so the ground-floor outside pool was packed. Has a room safe but this costs extra. Discovered an empty fridge were the mini-bar usually is (below the TV). The TV is an old 4:3 CRT and badly tuned. In addition to the Spanish channels they are a handful of German channels. The only English channel was EuroSports - no BBC news! Housekeeping varied - some days you would get a full compliment of towels, soap etc. then other days used items would disappear but not be replaced. WiFi is only available in the lobby - and expensive! Despite these irritations the location of the hotel in central Torremolinos makes it a good choice.
“Convenient Location, would go back”
We stayed at this Hotel for two nights following a Cruise out of Malaga, and as we did not eat here, I can not comment on the meals, but the location of the Hotel is very convenient for the local buses and a very good metro type train service going as far as Malaga to the north and Fuengirola to the south. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, but I did have to ask for a second pillow, which was supplied. Overall this is a nice hotel with a quite small pool area considering the size of the hotel, but a place I could well recommend.
“Another enjoyable stay”
We returned for another long weekend and were pleased we did. The hotel is clean, in a great location well away from the beach, and the staff are very helpful and efficient. The buffet breakfasts and dinners are good and there is always something interesting to eat, and no pressure to eat up and leave. Best thing about the hotel is the roof top pool - plenty sunbeds, nice breeze, peace and quiet and sunshine. Hotel is 10 mins by train from airport with train every 20 mins and costs € 1.55 each. Train to Malaga takes 25 mins and costs € 1.8 single. The Picasso Museum and the Cathedral are close together and both are stunning.
“a Great 3* Hotel, not 4”
a perfectly good hotel, very friendly and helpful staff - although the staff on reception could have been a bit better. the lift does take FOREVER and you have to climb a set of stairs from floor 8 to 9 which is where the rooftop pool is. as per other reviews, the public/communal areas of the hotel have been refurbished to look modern... but the rooms/beds are not. the bathroom is great and looks updated. Food was decent - breakfast was always good - dinner was ok. Nothing gourmet but certainly good enough with variety. location wise it was great. It is a short walk to the beach - and down a never ending flight of stairs (and the walk back up is a serious form of exercise each day). the hotel is in the centre of Torremolinos town with all the shops and restaurants surrounding it. Little noisy at night but nothing too bad at all. The beach area is great and again filled with very friendly locals... fantastic location and some lovely bars along the water front.
“Cervantes Hotel”
clean? but pretty far from sea shore, also very loud surroundings - cafes, bars and so on, Neighbours are also loud - kids crying, adults barking...
“Perfect beach holiday”
If you are looking for a great beach holiday for a good price then this hotel is perfect!!!

Torremolinos, Spain: There is more than meets the stereotype to this Anglo-centric seaside resort. While most of Torremolinos is a brash high-rise heaven for fun-loving Brits, the low-rise western part is patronised by the Spanish and has a very different character. Soft golden sands stretch either side of town and there is a huge choice of entertainments by day and night. Aquapark is a white-knuckle water world; Tivoli World is the regions major theme park.
