“Good Value”

Good value hotel, excellent gym and indoor pool. Entertainment was not up to much, but plenty to do in surrounding area.

Area recommendations
All along the coast at Benalmadena is nice, sandy beaches and plenty of good value places to eat. Lovely Marina, and promenade.

“NOT BAD AT ALL”

Good location, good service, overall not bad at all for the price. Did not use much of the in house facilities.

“Second time still fantastic!”

Me and my family visited here in 2010 and again August 2011. Again it was fab but as mentioned in last years review there is a very steep hill to the hotel so if you are elderly or have small children do not book this hotel.

“Very pleased with hotel”

Found the hotel very well equipped, enough to keep you entertained. Room was a little cramped for 4, where one of the 4 was a 15 yr old, however more than acceptable. Good location, nice town. parking is limited if you have a hire car. Will probably have to park on the street.

“Great Hotel”

Ok let's put this "steep hill" thing into prespective, is it steep, YES but you can go through the car park which means you don't have to walk the whole way this cuts the walk by half. It is not a killer but if you are elderley or have small children do not book this hotel as the hill even half way may be too much for them. I travelled with a Hotel is lovely and clean but you will have to pay for a safe box on a per day basis, they don't tell you this when you check on! Pool is not too deep, 150m. You can stay in the hotel to eat but this will cost you around 12.50 euros per person per sitting but there are many bars and restuarants close by including burger king and a supermarket next to this. It is a very nice hotel and the customer service is good. The rooms are average but then according to how much you are paying they are good enough. If you get the train to Banalmadena you will need to get a taxi to the hotel, it is not within walking distance, this will cost you around 7 euros. Taxi from airport to hotel will cost around 25 euros. Had a great time but will not return but this is because we wish to visit other places.

“better than most of the reviews on here!!”

cant find a fault with this hotel , everything was perfect . i have , and would recommend this to anyone , including my parents who love their 5 star holidays ..

“Clean hotel..little out of the way tho”

Overall enjoyed the hotel...only one crabby guy in the bar area. The pool was on the cool side! The hill leading up to the hotel is a killer...its long way from the beach action area.

Traveller's tip
Shanghai Chinese Restaurant down the road was a nice surprise...very good food. It was a switch from Fish & Chips! Take the bus to Fuenirola and transfer to a Mijas bus for a special treat. Thats where the Tapas bars are!

“Would go back again”

Dont stay on the top floor of the hotel as the ceeilings are extremely low in the bedrooms. Unless your a midget but were 5"10 and 6" so it was really annoying. Otherwise everything else is fantastic. There are sooooo many activities you wont need to leave the hotel. Plus a great thomas cook rep for daily trips. Also we repaid for breakfast and dinner which was well worth it for cost reasons.

“inte särskilt imponerad”

väldigt brant backe för att ta sig upp till hotellet om man inte har tillgång till garage nyckeln. tråkig utsikt, mot grann hotellet. Dåligt städat. För många bord på liten yta, fick möblera om för att kunna passera. Annars trevlig personal på hotellet.

“Hotel Benalmádena Palace increible calidad/precio”

Estuvimos allí 16 amigos para una despedida de soltero, solo pisamos el hotel para dejar las cosas, darnos un baño en las piscinas cubiertas, sauna, baño de vapor… y todo fantástico. Las habitaciones eran para 4 personas y eran grandes, con terraza, baño con bañera y ducha (para optimizar tiempo viene muy bien). Y el personal muy majo, encima un precio muy bueno. A todos nos pareció genial, muy tranquilo, lo único malo es que está un poco retirado de la zona de marcha, a unos 25 minutos andando… pero yo lo encontré muy bien.
