“Relaxing location”

The apartment was spotless, the receptionist very pleasant and location excellent. However this would not suit those wishing to night club etc but for a more relaxing location it was perfect. So not for the typical 18-30 crowd.

Area recommendations
The town is very typical Andalucian village, white buidings and terracota etc. A handful of bars and restaurants, and a supermarket and a couple of banks with ATM's. Bus service to Benalmadena Costa and Torremolinos.
Getting there
From Malaga Airport without a car take the train to Benalmadena Costa and then Taxi to the apartment which is a very reasonable cost, train fare is cheap.
Getting around
Local bus service daily but not really late. Services on excellent quality air con vehicles to Benalmadena Costa and Torremolinos. Trains run from Malaga via Airport to Fuengirola evry 30 mins. Bus services to all local towns etc.

“Small but perfectly formed!”

The one bedroom apartment was as I have said in the title. The only thing we would have liked would have been a balcony, but to be honest it was so cheap. The location was superb and the lady at the La Fonda Apartments reception was EXTREMELY helpful, providing us with a host of useful information. Our apartment was clean on arrival and cleaners did turn up every day, but sometimes all they did was empty the bin!!

Taxi from Malaga ranges from 25 to 30 Euros (cheaper on the way back using local taxis!)

“Gut als Basis für Ausflüge”

Wir haben La Fonda als Basis für Ausflüge nach Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba, Gibraltar, etc. genutzt und waren demzufolge nur zum Schlafen "daheim". Dafür war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hervorragend. Es war sehr sauber - den nächsten sinvollen und sicheren Parkplatz gabs in 5 Min. zu Fuß entfernt. Für uns perfekt - für einen Sommerurlaub am Strand wohl eher nix..

Area recommendations
Unbedingt anschauen: die maurischen Schätze Andalusiens, nach Cordoba, Sevilla, Granada je ca. 1,5-2 Std. Fahrzeit mit dem Mietauto

“Gerne wieder”

Wir waren in einem Appartement untergebracht. Das Appartement war zufrieden stellend, enttäuscht waren wir lediglich von der kleinen Terrasse, die nicht gerade zum Träumen einlädt! Die Lage des Appartements war sehr zentral, rundherum kleine Gässchen, gute Restaurants, sehr idyllisch gelegen. Leider waren die Nächte teilweise sehr laut, da die "Nachtwanderer" sehr aktiv und nicht gerade rücksichtsvoll waren. Im großen und ganzen hat aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gestimmt und wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder buchen!

Traveller's tip
Für einen Aufenthalt in einem Appartement konnte gleich nebenan alles Nötige eingekauft werden! Außerdem gab es in nächster Umgebung hervorragende Restaurants, Cafés und eine gute Bäckerei!
