“The best hotel in Malaga”
As described above, please just visit AC Malaga Palacio since you feel best!
“Muy buen”
Excellent, easily accessible hotel with a very central location which makes it an ideal base to explore Malaga. Second visit and will certainly stay here again.
“Very impressed”
Came here for my bf's 30th Birthday and this hotel was just perfect. The location was extremely convenient, right at the heart of the city - we were just minutes walk away from the restaurants and shops. The restaurant on the 15th floor and the outdoor swimming pool definitely make this hotel extra special - we spent every evening chilling out at the outdoor part of the restaurant enjoying the beautiful scenery of Malaga city. I would definitely recommend anyone going to Malaga to book this hotel. The free minibar in the hotel was an added bonus. The staff at the hotel were also very helpful.
“As with other reviews, this is a great hotel”
When I plan a city break I want a central hotel, a clean room and a decent view from my room. I therefore check web sites to get reviews from other travellers and then make my choice. This works really well as my January trip to Malaga proved. On my hotel request form I'd asked for a room with a view and a balcony. The reception took time to explain they couldn't do both but offered me the best they could and I was not disappointed. I had a 13th floor view on two sides of my room so I could enjoy the sunrise and sunset over the castle, the Alcazabar, the port , the gardens and the cathedral. My room was well set out and clean and had the bonus of a free soft drink mini bar which was stocked up daily. This was very much appreciated and used to the max. The other star point of this hotel is the 15th floor sun and pool terrace which offers 360' panoramic views of the city and appears to be the only hotel to do so. Amazing! Although the menu looked good, I didn't eat at the hotel and instead explored local cafes and bars for all my meals. On the whole food and service was great and good value. Just one experience of being ignored but we just went elsewhere and one luke warm meal which was promptly sorted out and recompensed with a free drink. We treated ourselves to a liquer at the hotel bar at the end of the day, a bit more expensive than local bars but generoous measures and just delightful to enjoy from a room with a view. Great trip and hotel.
“Great hotel!”
Great hotel, right in the centre of Malaga. Comfortable room, very clean. Great restaurant on rooftop, cathedral so close you can almost touch it. Will definitely stay here if we go back to Malaga.
“An excellent hotel for a trip based in Malaga”
Was delighted to be informed when checking out that the water I had taken from the fridge was gratis as was the time spent on the hotel's internet. Not costly to the hotel but earned them several brownie points! Staff were very helpful and friendly The situation is great.
“great hotel”
Friendly, efficient; brilliant roof terrace. Very well situated.
“Midweek break”
We had a great stay. perhaps fortunate to get a front room with ships and people to watch. We were able to use the pool in good weather. We gave ourselves a treat by booking a meal(the menu expensive for our budget) and were badly let down, although it may have been our fault. We chose a main course and sweet to keep the cost manageable but the 'nouvelle cuisine' necessitated a trip to mcDonalds to stave off the hunger!
“Fab location”
This hotel is a great location, for restaurants, shops and bars. it has lovely sea view rooms but they are not advertised on expedia and you have to ask for them. We reserved a sea view, non smoking room and what we were allocated with was a back room, no view and stank of smoke. we were informed that the room allocated was all they had left. so we threatened to sleep in the lobby and after a lot of frantic spanish conversations among staff, lo and behold the room we requested was found. after this initial upset the rest of our stay was very good.
“One of the best hotels in Malaga”
Staff are friendly to non Spanish people. The hotel location is the best one in Malaga, very convenient to any places. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!
