"Decadence that transports you back to a golden era"
Excellent service, luxurious rooms and decor, very satisfying free breakfast buffett, free private city tours. The hotel goes above and beyond to please its guests and is well located along the riverfront. Much recommended, would definitely stay here again.

Full of old-world charm, this historic Melaka hotel features its original porcelain flooring and vintage art in the lobby and …More
Excellent, friendly helpful staff and great facility. While it may not be right in town there are plenty of place to eat within walking distance and they offer a shuttle a few times a day to the main areas. Also if the timing doesn't work for the shuttle it's not hard to catch the #17 bus to the shopping malls as well as Melaka Sentral if coming and going by interstate bus. While our room wasn't large it was quite adequate for a couple and was well presented. We original booked only 2 nights but ended up extending our trip for a 3rd night. Arriving via Singapore we stayed the previous night at the Marina Bay Sands and did not at all feel like any standards had been dropped by staying here. Apart from the obvious landmark attractions the MB sands had the we felt the quality was the same for a fraction of the price.
Stayed for one night only on 27 July 2015. Bad experience at check-in as I was informed that I had to deposit RM100 for each room - I booked 24 rooms so that took up all my money and I was left with no money to spend and a lot of money leftover when I checked out! The hotel should have arranged for a credit card to be swiped when I check in and cancelled when I leave.
Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. I asked to be at the same floor as my friends who was staying there also and they arranged it. It made it very convenient for us. Thanks to the folks at Equatorial malacca.
The hotel is so convenient to the night market, we were there for two, the entertainment from the stage was loud, but we knew that this might be our only time in Melaka. We walked all over the town and enjoyed meals everywhere.
The night river cruise is really worth it .If you are interested in history, religion etc Melaka must be visited, and Jonkers Boutique Hotel , although not shiny and glitzy is an ideal place to stay.
