thanks, yes we are just located out of the city of Maipu, in the middle of vineyards and olivegroves. Slowly we work our way through a renovation of part of the original building of the posada. Some paint jobs mainly and change of curtains. best regards, Hans

Thanks for the comments. About the meals, we try to keep the meals affordable so every evening people can have dinner and also not to extensive as is the request of the mayority of our guests. Indeed there are few restaurants open in the evening, For lunch many restaurants in wineries nearby.

thanks for the comments. One thing I can think of is that the door of the deposit was not closed at night and the waterpump switched on a few times. But that is a quite soft sound. There is also a movement detector outside. Stray dogs passing by must make it funcioning unnecesary, I'll disconnect it. Best regards,

thanks for the comments. The posada is in a rural area with easy access to several wineries and olive oil presses. Restaurants are not so far away neither during day. At night you can stay in and eat at the posada. We have a credit card system since banks are in the centre of town. Wifi is indeed sometimes a bit slower than in the city as it's not brought in by cable but via air signal with a big antenna. Nevertheless has few interuptions. I'm glad you liked the dinner at the posada. Maxi and Karen will be very happy with your warm comment about their wine sauce. The hake also is an excellent option and change for the meat dishes. Since it's a 6 room posada I'm not always sitting in front of my desk. To many things to do. But always in reach with wattsup which is a good "virtual desk". I've now installed a solar water boiler to pre-heat the water of the boilers in the rooms. In the future I plan to do some solar electrical panels to keep the electricity consumption down and give my little help for ecological power consumption. Best regards, Hans

Well thanks Suzanne, what actually works best is whatsapp. It's the quickest way of comunicating, and has options for sending a location with googlemaps or contacts etc. In the evening we try to offer every night a small menu so guests don't have to go out and can meet the other guests. Thanks for the comments. After 11 years with a relatively small structure we recently opened the new wing of the posada with recepcion and lobby, "wine-cellar" and dining room. So now we also offer dinner at night so the guests don't have to go out in the evening. Start of the week very few restaurants are open in Mendoza, so we can fully cater for that. We also added 3 rooms. We offer the BBQ (weather permiting) twice a week (in the evening) if we can. The other days we have several options for dinner. Best regards and good travels,

Gracias A.,fue un placer conocerlos. Llevarlos a la bodega no era mucho molesto. Así también salí un poco de la rutina :-).En horarios pico no hay tantos remises o uber o cabify disponibles. Ademas trabajamos juntos con la bodega. El mundo es chico!
