I booked this, along with my 7 year old son, with the reservation of experiencing the 'Magaluf juveniles' which you expect from the name Magaluf, Benidorm, San Antonio etc.
I'm pleased to say that, along with Benidorm, which I went to last year, it was much cleaner and pleasant than I'd imagined.
The hotel itself is about 200 metres from 'the biggest nightclub in Majorca', BCM and BCM square.
Even though we were so close the noise was no where near excessive, ok we had some of those 'juveniles' down the hall who woke me on a couple of occasions about 3.30 in the morning but even so I soon popped off to sleep again so no big deal.
Having said that, what they should do when they find out they are a bunch of lads or girls then put them on the lower floors maybe?
The food was good and varied and of course the park adjoining the hotel, which was all free to hotel guests, was excellent with its 2 mini golf courses (Best and prettiest courses I've ever played on).
Lifts in the hotel take an absolute age to arrive so if you are near the lower floors its best to walk to your room.
Above all this is a 3 star hotel and it fills in for a good quality 3 star and if they make the upgrades next year (No single sex parties and sound proofed rooms it could quite easily become a 4 star.
Reception staff are friendly but their system takes to long to check you in, only complaint.
After 9 days in that hotel I can nothing than just recommend this place. Me and my wife went to Magaluf because we booked our tickets to late and I was actually afraid that this holiday will be a disaster because of the location. But when we came there we were welcomed very well and we got a very silent room on the opposite position from Niki Beach. Amazing service and very high standard rooms. Only thing is remember if you book a room with a friend is that both bathroom and shower is more or less a see through glass door (toalett is with frosted glass).
They have an adult pool and one for the family with children, great for us without kids!
Came back to cold London and I just want to go back to the lounge music, good drinks and the amazing breakfast.
They also had a quite good gym for a hotel.
We were all inclusive which meant you could have cocktails all day if you wanted. Lunch and dinner were similar every day but luckily I enjoyed the food so I didn't mind. It is what you make of it. We really loved it, had a nice view over the town. We booked into fergus pax and were moved to the baracuda (because of our age I think) which I wasn't happy about but now I'm so glad we were! We had an amazing time and made friends. Fergus pax seemed really nice and you could use both facilities, but we didn't need to. We would go again, all inclusive saved us so much money and we went out at night but took a drink for our walk there.
The staff was very friendly and the hotel was right on the sea and 5 minutes away from the centre of Magaluf. The bed was confortable, the room size was good and we had an amazing stay!!
The clenings were ok, considering the room price it was more than acceptable! We booked again for this year and we are looking forward to go!!!
Hotel where to have a rest. TRH Torrenove hotel can suppose to occupy one of the best places on the Majorca island. Situated …More
Only been home 2 days and I miss the place already! We weren't in the main building but it didn't matter. The room was really clean, had a big wardrobe with a safe. The cleaner visited every day and was very pleasant. We loved the sea view! We joked that we could sit on the balcony all day, then one of the days we basically did.
The staff were always really warm and helpful with us. They all spoke really good English as well.
The location was perfect for young people because the strip is literally just down the hill. There's steps halfway down the hill that lead to the beach, so that is barely even a 5 minute walk away, with plenty of cafes and shops nearby as well.
Best for last... the food. We were half board so we could get breakfast and dinner, but we only got up in time for breakfast 3 times (8am-10pm). There's so much variety in the food they serve up, especially for dinner (7pm-9pm). We had 2 platefuls a night! It was fantastic, probably the highlight of our holiday apart from the nights out.
