Pictures cannot capture the idyllic setting of this hotel. absolutely, unbelievably gorgeous. Rushing water sounds help sleep at night, staff's english not great, so leaves some room for misunderstanding when ordering dinner, but will do anything to ensure a pleasant stay. There was a group of about 25 people who travelled there just to do yoga, the setting was so tranquil. waterfalls and river running right through hotel. Lobby and restaurant all open air. It is about 45 minutes from town, so about 700 baht for fixed rate taxi, but minutes from Tiger Kingdom, and some other activities.

My family of 5 spent 4 wonderful days at Panviman Chiangmai Spa Resort. The beautiful and tranquil surroundings allowed us to unwind and take a complete break from our normal busy schedule. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Mr. Charles .made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We certainly would love to come back again.
The Hotel is in a very quiet part of Chiang Mai, lots of sports activities and some good food. The service is hit and miss sometimes very good but sometimes no staff to serve drinks.
The room was very clean and housekeeping first class.
The only thing to watch is the drinks prices are very expensive compare to other restaurants in the area.
Thai international was very confortable and on time so it was fantastic as usual.
If you want a nice, quiet and quaint place, go to Muang Gudi. Pool is nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food in the small restaurant is quite good; one of the best we had if you like authentic Thai food. Ask for a room off the main road as it can get quite noisy. Hotel is close to many attractions but you need to take a taxi and is far from the city. Getting anywhere will cost you 500 baht one way.
