“Great hotel- so central!”
Great hotel - incredibly central and within easy walking distance of all the major sights. The street in which it is located is a bit off-putting- derelict buildings etc - but perfectly safe. Room was very comfortable, attractive, well designed - suoer bathrooms. Helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is very good but very expensive unless you happen to eat a huge amount in the morning - it's not possible just to have a 'coffee and croissant' type option. All in all, a real find and we'd use it again.
“Second stay at the hotel was just as wonderful as the first.”
This is a fantastic hotel. Its central location, modern design, clean and spacious rooms make it our favourite in Madrid. Our only gripe would be that there wasn't an iron we could borrow. But a gripe which wouldn't change our mind about staying here for our next trip.
“A hotel that will be seeing me again!”
This hotel helped make my trip perfect. Upon arrival I was pleased to see that the hotel looked exactly as it did in the photos published on various websites. The staff were very helpful, friendly and made me feel very welcome instantly. My room was spotless and well maintained by cleaning staff daily. The location is amazing, a 5 minute walk to Sol, the centre of Madrid and a 10 minute walk to the fabulous Retiro park. For future stays in Madrid, I will be staying at this hotel.
“Great!”
Brilliant hotel. Walking distance to everywhere. Clean rooms, lovely bathrooms, excellent breakfast. Only complaint was not much daylight in bedroom - but this was not important on a weekend stopover when we were out most of the time.
“Lovely boutique hotel”
Great location, modern, comfortable, quiet area. Loved it.
“Great hotel in great location”
This was a great hotel in the centre of Madrid, within walking distance to everything. Big and new bedroom and bathroom with friendly staff. Only one downside was that our window looked into a stairwell. I would recommend asking for a room with a window to the outside. Other than that great.
“Great location, tiny rooms”
This hotel is the perfect location for sightseeing in Madrid. Centrally located, its walking distance from basically all the major attractions, which is the way one should see madrid. The service was very nice and efficient. My only complaint would be that the rooms are on the small side and pretty basic. But if you plan on spending most of your time at meetings(business) or sightseeing, that doesn't matter at all. Overall, I thought it was good value for the money.
“Great Central Location”
Hotel is located close to central attractions and provides a good base for a short break. Metro is nearby along with bars and restaurants within a short walk.
“Good location, nice room”
The hotel is very well located for all central Madrid attractions; almost everything within easy walking distance. The room, although a bit small, was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. We didn't have the (expensive) breakfast, but ordered tea from room service - this came with a few pastries which were enough to keep us going until lunchtime.
“3 nights in April 2009”
Cant fault the Hotel, everything was superb and the location couldnt really be better for getting about in central madrid. Shower took a while to heat up, other than that 10/10!
