Pros: Location close to all shops, restaurants and nightlife in the middle of Madrid Metro station directly outside hotel Belgian cafe across the road for breakfast Bathroom is nice, clean and spacious Contemporary decor Cons: Double bed was infact a twin bed pushed together. No wifi in the rooms. Only LAN connection for laptops No tea/coffee making facilities in the room No irons available. Was suggested by staff to use laundry service which was very expensive. Breakfast expensive but plenty of options outside hotel. Spa is expensive. 50 euros for two people for 1 hour (discounted rate) for access to jacuzzi, sauna/steam room. Standard room is small.

“Great location.........”

This hotel is located close to Plaza el Callao and one block from the Corte Ingles and three blocks from the Subway station. Lively and happy place till late hours. My room had excellent soundproff protection.

“Loved It All”

This is a great hotel. Located right in the centre of everything. The hotel was recently renovated. Well within walking distance to all the major sightseeing attractions, however, there is a Hop-On/Hop-Off bus stop across the road from the hotel. Close to shops, restaurants and entertainment. Breakfast was not included in our rate.

The bad thing is they don't have WiFi . I can't used my IPad . However , they have internet in the room using cable , the location is very nice near to attractions, shopping, and metro .

“location GREAT, did not like black interior colour scheme”

Location of the hotel is excellent. we bought 3 day pass and really made use of it as Metro stations are very close, Playa Del Sol is few yards away. I did not like black interior of the hotel (not the room) as it was very dark and lighting is not good. lots of Tapas restaurants near by as well!!!! Will stay there but would like a room on the higher floor.. 7th upwards .. As hotel is in trianular shape.. our friends had no view on the 6th floor!!! and did not get any natural day light in the room. Jose in rception was best.. why did they leave only one toothbrush and one comb when we were in twin room!!!

“Excellent value”

Vincci Capitol was well located and blended historic character with modern decor and conveniences. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. The bathroom was fantastic, and the room had nice lighting.
