“Good choice for Madrid”

This is a nice 3* hotel, located near Cuzco or Tetua metro stops (5-10 mins walking).The entrance is stlightly hidden, but staff was helpful and the hotel provides all basic facilities, including free wi-fi. Just make sure your room has good network reception if you want to use the internet. Rooms have also flat screen TVs, but mine wasn't working. Adequate space and a safe available in room. The area is pretty quiet and the Bernabeu is 10-15 mins walking. There is one of those little convenience stores about 10 mins away from the hotel to buy drinks and snacks. Breakfast was quite pricey, but it was well worth it ! Defintely recommended for a few nights stay in Madrid if you get a nice price !

Lots of nice things to do in Madrid. Visit one of the museums on their free days !

“Needs improvements”

Location is great, but the lobby and hallways need remodeling and improvements, furniture is too old in the lobby, it's a turn off.

“Great value for your money! Excellent Location!”

I was looking for a place close to the "Santiago Bernabeu" Stadium. This was certainly close enough and at a great price. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable enough. Construction might be a bit old but the hotel is kept very clean. Overall, I will say it's a great value for your money.

“Great Hotel/Great Location”

Great Location...just a short walk from the metro. Very convenient location. We travelled to madrid to see Real Madrid C.F. and the Bernabeu Stadium was just a 10 minute walk away from this hotel. Highly recommended for football fans! Great location and great staff at the front desk.

“Great Hotel in Quiet/Convenient Location”

We spend 2 nights in Madrid before returning home. The Sunotel Amaral meet all of our needs for our short stay. Hotel is located in a very clean and safe business/residential district. Shops and restaurants near by and a 10 minute walk to Hop On Hop Off bus stop.

Area recommendations
For vacation travelers visiting the city I'd recommend staying downtown Madrid where the action is.
Getting there
Taxi driver knew just where the hotel was from the train station. The cost was 15 Euros

“Average”

We were very happy that we were able to use WiFi (free) inour room. Also, the location was very good, except for the fact that there was a party going on in apartments next door which made sleep difficult.

“Well-connected, nice and tidy”

Very helpful staff, clean and nice, perfect location with 2 very close-by underground stations (Tetuan and Cuzco). There are supermarkets close-by, which are very handy for snacks and essentials. As it is in business district, the hotel and surrounding streets were very quiet over the weekend period, which is a plus. One key footnote in case you'd like to use the swimming pool: the pool is not exactly the hotel's... it belongs to a nearby block of residents, and there is a green pass you pick up from reception. These permits come in limited numbers, valid for 2 hours - and in the afternoon/evening, it is virtually impossible to get hold of any, unless very lucky or can wait up to 2 hours until somebody's expires AND he/she respects the deadline (and brings it back to reception)...

“Comfortable Hotel”

The hotel was comfortable, clean and for my purposes it was conveniently located. It is a bit far from the city center though, but for people travelling for business or other purposes it is a decent hotel.
