Goed hotel, receptie vriendelijk, kamer netjes en goed, ontbijt beperkt qua aanbod, bedieningspersoneel niet erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Hier mag meer verwacht worden van een 5* hotel. Hierdoor zou ik een volgende keer niet direct terugkeren.

Fabulous hotel

Pros: Bed and room
Cons: Inclusive spa use
Location: Metro
The location of this hotel is out of the centre but only a 5 minute walk to the metro. The room was superb and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. The free shuttle service to the airport was very quick and convenient. The only thing that was annoying is that there was an additional charge of 20 euros a day to use the spa and pool which Expedia did not make clear.

Hidden fees

Pros: Clean and sapcious rooms.
Cons: Hidden fees, need to disclose at reservation. This also could be Expedia fault as well.
Location: Nice location but purely residential and not good for tourists. Too far from city center.
I made a reservation through expedia, and the hotel was excellent based on cleaniess, but they requested extra charges for everything including pool, gym and even regular TV chanels discontinued after 10-15 minutes and requested to pay 13 Euro to continue!? Also the location of hotel is not good for tourists, especially if traveling from outside of Spain. It's locted in a nice area, but it is purely residential.

However, the access to our outdoor swimming pool, open during the summer season, is included in all our room rates without exception. Regarding the TV Channels you mentioned we would like to inform that our Hotel offers 73 channels and only 7 of them require a payment of a fee. Concerning our location, we are situated in the quiet residential area of Mirasierra in the north of Madrid City; the Hotel is well communicated with the centre of Madrid. We are close to a subway station and there is a bus stop on the doorstep directly connected to Gran Via, the cultural heart of the city, a stone’s throw from Cibeles, Paseo del Prado and the Retiro Park. Fantastic Experience

We stayed at the Sheraton Mirasierra for 4 days and absolutely loved it. The staff was excellent and super helpful; the rooms and facilities were top notch; and the location perfect -- not in the heart of downtown, but near enough to make it convenient.

Amazing Hotel, made for comfort.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was very professional and the rooms were 5 stars in comfort. The room came with just about everything we needed for our two day stay and we enjoyed the street view from our room. We both loved the Bathroom which had a shareable shower (2 shower heads) and a seprate bathtub. The lighting in the room was well thought out and gave a great ambience. Outside there were always people walking dogs on the sidewalk, the neighborhood felt very safe. I only have a few minor constructive comments on our stay, but everything was more than what I expected otherwise. The first day after being in our room for less than an hour one of the maids walked in our room while my girlfriend was in the shower. Though, we did not put up our do not disturb sign when we first arrived either. We also had 2 seperate guest knock on our door, both had suitcases and were looking for their room when I answered the door. When we checked in we were not escorted to our room, so I assume this might be a common problem with new check-ins. I also would not advise using the Taxi for your main source of transportation if you are on a budget. This Hotel is located a bit out town and taking a Taxi to Plaza Mayor downtown is about 40 euros round trip. Though, it was great when two staff members came out to open the taxi door for us after our big date in Madrid. Never would expect that kind of service at 1am!

Nice hotel - perfect for an abroad spa break.

Pros: The spa, the size of the rooms, the staff were friendly.
Location: The food and drink market in the centre is amazing, with really nice tapas.
The hotel was a 15 min taxi ride from the centre of Madird - but the tube station, which is a cheaper option, is a walk away and really easy to use. If asked the receptionist will show you a map, highlight all the places to visit that may be of interest and then show you how to get to them on the tube. The drinks in the bar are expensive but the gin and tonics are amazing and came with crisps. We spent a morning in the spa, followed by a massage, which was all lovely.

Out of the centre but a wonderful hotel and spa.

Stayed 3 nights. Room a perfect size - plenty of space comfortable bed microwave, dining table etc. South facing room with a nice desk and plenty of light. Very quiet and no interruptions to check the minibar, turn back the sheets which is unusual these says. Entrance hall is spectacular. The spa is amazing and the entrance lobby spectacular. A 5 star experience.

Decent but not exceptional

Hotel is located in a nice quiet part of Madrid a short walk away from the underground. staff are friendly and helpful, however we had a blocked drain in the shower which made the water overflow which the cleaning staff didn't report. Also had a problem with the TV set, called for assistance but no one arrived to fix the problem. Also no WIfi in the rooms which is disappointing for a 5* hotel.
