Nice hotel in great location for sightseeing

Pros: Lovely ambiance and presentation. Room was comfortable and well designed. All the staff spoke English and were welcoming and helpful.
We spent nights here and were upgraded. We travelled in from the airport to the hotel using the metro. Very simple and very quick. Hotel is in a good location to see the sightseeing attractions in Madrid. Really enjoyed the trip.

The stay was really good the whole experience was great the staff were good they tried to make your stay pleasant and always remembered your name or either the room.

Location: Walking distance to all locations. Next to metro station for those disinclined to walk everywhere!

Hotel gut,5Sterne sind übertrieben. Service beim Frühstück überfordert,ansonsten ist alles da. Zimmer zur Hauptstraße" Calla Princessa "sehr laut,tauschen war aber kein Problem.

Pros: quasi nulla
Cons: Chi oggi sceglie un albergo 5 stelle pretende un servizio assolutamente all'altezza. Non si può clamorosamente sbagliare su troppi dettagli.
Ho scelto un hotel 5 stelle per il mio soggiorno a Madrid, non è regalato, come ci si aspetta, ma cerco in modo accurato su Expedia perchè i dettagli sono importanti. Viaggio per lavoro quindi il wi-fi in camera è fondamentale. C'è scritto wi-fi in camera e free. Il wi-fi non c'è perchè la camera è vicino all'ascensore che fa da scudo, comunque sarebbe stato free .... ah!, chiarisco che free o non free mi serve! Mi dicono che si può cambiare camera dopo qualche risentimento, un pò scocciati; nuova camera, ok il wi-fi ma il vassoio di cortesia con l'acqua calda per il the si paga a parte perché nella nuova camera non c'è cortesia ... mah!!. Addebito finale di 60 euro per due telefonate da due minuti. Certo, la camera è pulita e il personale mediamente disponibile ... Gli alberghi a 3 stelle funzionano, male che vada, allo stesso modo e costano la metà. Attenzione ai dettagli!

Room with a view. In the Level.

Pros: The Level lounge, the buffet breakfast, the reception staff and the easily reached good bars and restaurants in the area made this a great break.
Cons: It would be nice to be given a fresh bottle of water every day not just when you arrive. The mirrors in the room were a bit dusty.
Location: In Arguelles El Corte Ingles . Gran Via . Good restaurants and tapas bars close. Visit The Prado and Riena Sofia museums. Teleférico cable car.
Stayed at Melia Madrid Princesa February 7th - 9th 2015. Our room was in "the Level" and was on the 12th floor with views across the city. The room was very nice with good facilities and a large comfortable bed. The Level includes a good buffet breakfast and the use of the Level lounge with snacks and drinks provided. The drinks are proper brands not the "local" brews offered in all inclusive hotels. The room included minibar, hairdryer, bath/shower, bidet, TV, reading lights on the bed, ambient coloured lighting on the bedside table, robes and slippers. When you arrive you are offered the opportunity to upgrade to a superior room with hydro massage bathtub and more space for 70 euros p/n we didn’t and were quite happy with our room. Reception staff were helpful and courteous and patient with me as I tried to talk in Spanish even though their English was much better. The hotel is next to the Ventura Rodríguez metro station which became increasingly useful as we learned to negotiate the Metro system. You can get to the Melia Princesa from Terminal 1 at the airport with one change of train at Mar de Cristal getting off at Arguelles and walking down to the hotel or changing at Arguelles for a short journey to Ventura Rodríguez. The hotel is not far from Gran Via and most of the other attractions easy walking but is you aren't a walker the Metro is nearby.

Location: スペイン広場まで徒歩5分。最寄りのメトロがホテルの近くで足回りはとても便利。 スペイン広場と反対方向約5分の所にデパート有。
スペイン広場へは徒歩約5分。最寄りのメトロがホテルの近くにあって、とても便利。 部屋は清潔感があってアメニティも揃っていて使いやすい。 ポットとインスタントコーヒー、紅茶もセットされている。(無料) 3人で宿泊、ツインのベッドにエキストラが入って、とても快適。 朝食のバイキングは種類がとても豊富で、6泊しても毎朝楽しみでした。 free-Wi-Fiなのでとても便利。 パソコンとプリンターを借りる場合は30分3ユーロ必要。(フロントで頼んだ)

Das gute zuerst, es liegt sehr Zentral. Der SPA kostet extra 17€uro/Tag,, ich war mit meinem 7Jährigen Sohn, der wollte natürlich unbedingt schwimmen als wir angekommen sind, (Die Internet Fotos sind gefakt), der Portier hat mir erklärt das ich 17€uro pro Person bezahlen muss und ich nur noch 1Stunde bleiben kann weil sie um 22Uhr sperren und es sei gerade 21Uhr. Ich habe ihm gesagt das ich für eine Stunde nicht 34€uro begleichen on er eine möglichkeit sieht mir entgegen zu kommen, man hat mir sehr frech und unfreundlich erklärt die Preise sind nicht verhandelbar. Ich wollte nicht verhandeln aber für eine Stunde Tagespreis zu kassieren ist auch eine frechheit. Ich steige nur in diese Qualität von Häuser ein aber so etwas ist mir nie vorgekommen. Als wir am nächsten Tag den SPA besucht haben mussten wir feststellen das es Schimmlig & ecklig ist, die 2 Herren die an der Rezeption arbeiten waren auch ungepflegt und unfreudnlich. Es ist so verdreckt das die Lichter nicht an sind damit man den Schimmel nicht sieht. Nach einem schönen Tag in Madrid waren wir Abend nochmal im Schimmelparadies da mein kleiner Sohn wieder schwimmen wollte, um 21.30 wollte uns der Schwimmeister rausschmeisen weil um um 22Uhr zusperren, als ich ihm angesprochen habe das wir noch eine halbe Stunde Zeit haben, da hat er gesagt wir seien die einzigen Gäste und er möchte jetzt heim fahren.
