“One of the best locations in Madrid”
We rented two rooms for four nights. Our experience right from check in to check out was excellent. Hotel customer experience specialist Miriam spent lot of time explaining the amenities of the hotel, features of the room, places to visit, restaurants to eat etc. There is a Tapas place right next to the hotel called Lateral, which is excellent. We found the breakfast in the hotel to be expensive and found several good pastry shops and cafes very close to the hotel where you can have breakfast at a very reasonable price. We will definitely stay at ME Madrid during our next visit to Madrid. We also want to thank Expedia for upgrading one of our rooms.
“Made our Madrid trip”
I would struggle to find a way to improve the hotel. The room although small was very comfortable and quiet, the bed was fantastic. Staff were all delightful and helped us with whatever we wanted, booking events for us etc. The location just could not have been more perfect. Within 30 seconds we were strolling into authentic tapas bars and losing an evening amidst the crowds of locals. Also ideal for wandering through the squares. Without doubt the restaurant and food / room service is pricey, We did not use it as Madrid is on your doorstep! unfortunately we did not manage to make it to eat at the restaurant on this trip, next time we will. The rooftop bar is a must. It is straight out of a movie set All in all me Madrid is one of the best hotels I have stayed in, ( and in my work I have stayed in a lot!) I will be back to Madrid , a city I just fell in lve with I will be back to me Madrid
“Comfort, convenience, and chic in Old Madrid”
This hotel is located on Plaza Santa Ana, a very convenient location within walking distance of Puerta del Sol, a transportation hub. There are tons of bars and restaurants nearby and the view from the rooftop lounge is beautiful. I would have liked more soundproofing between our room and the suite next door, as the guests there watched a soccer game (loudly) on Sunday morning. The staff was vey helpful and fluent in English.
“Fab Hotel”
This was my second stay at this hotel. I think it is a fab hotel. n a cool area The room although on the small side is very stylish and I loved the wet room. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. I don't eat in the hotel as it is way too expensive. There are plenty of places for breakfast and tapas nearby. The roof terace is well worth a visit for cocktails. Only downside is charges for playing cds and dvds from the TV screen are prohibitive as is the mini bar.. There is a list of cds and dvds at reception that you can borrow for free and play through the room's sound system. I would definitely stay here again
“ME Madrid, Amazing hotel, Amazing Location, Amazing shower! Could NOT have asked for anything better”
This hotel is straight bang in the middle of all the action, but when you go back to your room after the night, you wouldn't know it as the sound does not filter into the rooms at all. The hotel is clean, the showers were heaven, the beds were incredibly comfortable. The room is quite small, but theres a separate hallway bit with a wardrobe so it didnt matter. The rooftop terrace bar has amazing views over the plaza!!! In all our walking about, I don't think I saw a better hotel in a better location than this one. PERFECTION! Want to be back there now!
“Fantastic Hotel - would definitely stay here again.”
Our room overlooked the square which can be a bit noisy, and the restuarants work late into the night. So if you want it to be quieter ask for a room not facing the square. It didn't bother us that much because we were into the atmosphere and fun as it was our first time in Madrid. All the staff are fantastic and helpful.
“Impressed”
Good hotel. Shame about the view from the window. Room quite small and matress a bit too hard
“Place to Be”
Took my husband on his first trip to Madrid. Location of hotel perfect for walking to all the main attractions and for getting a feel for the real Madrid. Trendy hotel in a very buzzy area with a terrific roof top bar. Staff were extremely helpful with all aspects.
“Great Hotel!”
Superb location. walking distance to most tourist attractions, tapas bars, shopping, etc. Hotel staff were attentive and courteous. Bedsheets were changed daily. Facilities are well maintained. Recommendations to hotel staff: Hotel staff were dressed too casually - only thing that ID's them as staff member is a lapel pin. An employee name tag with hotel name/Logo would be appropriate and would make them easily identifiable. Coffee/tea bar in the room or Coffee machine in the hotel lobby would be a great convenience when leaving early in the morning.
“Great location and service.”
Within walking distance to many areas in the heart of Madrid. Accesible Metro and Train stations nearby. Service oriented staff. Very clean. I will strongly recommended.
