Cute neighborhood; away from the main tourist spot

Posted 18-Oct-2014
We had been traveling for 3 weeks and spent our last night at this location. It was everything that the website promised. The area was in a more residential neighborhood but still had plenty of shopping and Tapas bars. The room was well appointed. Madrid is a party town and the Tapas bars are lively most of the night. Be prepared for a rowdy night regardless of where you might stay in Madrid. If you closed the windows and curtains in your room at this location, you will filter out most of the street noise.

Modern, quiet and friendly.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel is not close to the center of Madrid but in a very nice neighborhood just north of the center. The metro is right on the corner and very simple to take to the center of the city. Take the 1 to Puerta del Sol (2 quick stops) and you are walking distance to all the main tourist sites in Madrid. Hotel was very modern and quiet. Room size was excellent.

Great location and fantastic staff

Posted 09-Sep-2014
Wonderful hotel with a great location, right next to the metro, but also walkable to great restaurants and shops. The service at reception was excellent, and everyone we met on the reception desk was very helpful and so pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. The room was impeccably clean, and serviced every day with clean towels.

Anniversary trip

Pros: New. Clean. Central location. Relaxing environment. Great staff.
Cons: NA
Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Veronica who checked us in and offered us a room upgrade. She gave us a map of the city and a full list of sights/places to visit which proved very helpful. All the staff were amazing. The hotel was new and very clean. It is very close to Balboa train station and 15mins walk from the old town and all the sights. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel

All good. Nice room that was well kept. Would say for a light sleeper the music from the bulb next door would be a deterrent. I was so tired though I managed to fall asleep.

Helpful staff but hotel is very average. No curtains in windows for privacy, no tea making facility, breakfast OK.

Excellent stay in friendly and convenient hotel

Posted 30-May-2014 on Hotels.com
I enjoyed an excellent night in this hotel. Staff very friendly and able to copy with my intermediate Spanish (!) Room was well furbished, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast simple but substantial. Located at Bilboa Metro (follow c/Luchana exit and the hotel is right there). Easy access to all other Madrid areas either by foot or Metro. My only recommendation is, like most hotels, the pillows on the bed were all of the same thickness... a little variety (in every hotel) would be appreciated.

Excellent location with Bilbao Metro a 20m walk

Pros: Decor. Breakfast was OK Double glazing and balcony glazing eliminates nearly all outside sound - pity that internal noise was the problem
Cons: Room cleaning timetable needs changing to suit clients not the hotel- check customer profiles Couples on holiday are wanting a rest during a busy day
Location: Madrid was good as walking is easy with plenty of Museums, Parks and restaurants Lots of interesting neighbourhoods Staff in bars/shops were polite
UNFORTUNATELY Rooms are cleaned 5-7PM and this interrupts your rest between touring and dinner. One day we returned and the room was still unserviced. We had to leave the hotel as the bar was closed and returned 30mins later while cleaning was carried out Rooms on all floors ending .01 have a cleaners cupboard on both sides and workers are noisy. Upstairs cleaning with dragged chairs and tables was another noise nuisance. TV on English channels was hopeless and that combined with the cleaners timetable made our waking/resting time there unacceptable.

Nice and comfortable hotel. Very nice staff.

This hotel is very comfortable, clean and close to the center of Madrid. Breakfast is not included but they offer a good deal for 10 Eu of you agree to buy it for all days of your stay. We accepted and we loved it! Many options to eat, healthy and delicious. Staff was very helpful and kind. I would come back again!
