The room was great, very spacious, modern and clean.
However the customer service was not great, upon arrival I was given no details regarding breakfast, the restaurant etc... that was Day 1
Day 2 - I asked for some advice on local restaurants, a distracted person on reception pointed in a direction and said there are some the other side of the train tracks.... No other advice or help was offered.
Day 3 - whilst waiting for a colleague in the evening (19.35pm), I asked again at reception if I could get a drink as there was no-one in the bar or the restaurant. I was advised they didn't open until 20.00 so there was nothing they could do.! However if I had gone to my room I could have ordered Room Service for a drink!
Day 4 - checkout - 3 people behind the desk but only 1 person checking people out so a queue was beginning to form.. I asked if I could have the invoice in my company name but as I had made the original booking in my own name, I was advised this was very difficult as that morning they had implemented a new system. the young man was very apologetic but was very flustered and did not know what to do, so sensing the long queue behind me, I decided to not insist and leave it as it was.
One redeeming piece of customer service, I did not wish to have breakfast but just a cup of tea, the young man in the restaurant was very accommodating and helpful. if all of the staff took a leaf out of his book it would have made for a much better experience.
