“Great Value and Location”
Convenient and close to the airport. After we figured out how to use the public phones to call for the shuttle, we waited no more than 5 minutes (that was luck - he was already enroute). We arrived late at night so didn't get a good look at the neighborhood but we did see many shops and restaurants in the area. In the lobby area is a bar area for drinks and snacks and a continental breakfast (for a fee) was available in the morning. No problem communicating with the hotel desk person. Our Junior Suite had all the usual, nicer amenities plus laminate wood floors, marble tile in the bath, and a small balcony with a view that included the airport tower. Very nicely done.
“Godd location for early flight”
Arrived at Hotel at 11 pm, wake up call at 3 am, caught shuttle at 4 am. Not much time at hotel; room ok but for a non-smoking room it reeked of smoke. Shuttle worked ok but with it working only on the hour could be a problem. We lucked out. Need better insturctions on where to pick up shuttle. Front desk efficient.
“Very Impressed!”
This hotel was exactly what we needed. The front desk service was friendly, they spoke English and they anticipated our needs for a shuttle to the airport early the next morning. They also asked if we wanted a wake-up call. The hotel room was both clean and quiet and the shower was very good as well.
“Only convenient”
Only reason to stay here is convenience to airport. Room was clean but small. Neighborhood was not charming and restaurant choices nearby were very poor.
“Good For Airport Convenience”
We stayed here the night before our trip back to the US for it's convenience to the airport. It's about a ten minute walk from the metro station and a very dark walk at night. I would recommend just taking a cab from the metro if you have bags with you or it's dark. The airport shuttle in the morning is a mess. The shuttle driver does not help with the bags. The shuttle stops at one other hotel. No one mentioned to any of the passengers that there would be a second shuttle as well. Instead, everyone was trying to frantically get on one shuttle and rearrange huge bags. It's a 35-45 min metro ride from Madrid. In retrospect, we might have just stayed in the city rather than going back and forth. There is little to do or eat around the Clement Barajas.
