“Robert”
I forgot my coat and the personnel was very kind with me when I called and went to get the coat at the room and kept to pick it up later on.
“Not Impressed”
Food service very slow - we sat for 30 minutes before going to ask for our order to be taken - that took another 20 minutes. Food took ages to arrive, was of poor quality and pricey. Our waiter was particularly unhelpful. We avoided eating in the hotel again during the stay The room I was in had a conferenace rooom next to it and a party went on in there until the early hours and was very noisy, making sleep impossible - not great if you have an early flight the following day. Rang reception twice to complain but they could only offer us a different room rather than tell the noise makers to be quiet. Hotel shuttle bus was generally ok but we were at the stop 5 minutes before the scheduled time and we watched as it just drove past meaning another 30 minute wait
“Hotel Auditorium; an airport hotel that hits the spot.”
Excellent airport hotel: there are restaurants to the left within 500 meters; but the buffet in the Hotel includes wine; the a la carte restaurant responds to all other needs; airport shuttle every 30 minutes from 5 am to 1:30 am. Pool; sauna. My room was quiet on two occasions. AC worked in October 26 (many hotels turn off AC in October.) The floor is linoleum tile. If this is a problem, go elsewhere. To Madrid you take the bus across the street, every few minutes. 20 minutes to Avenida America bus station, then metro. Train from terminal 4 is fast (if you know the schedule) which is reached by hotel shuttle. Good choice if you are leaving early from the airport, or you want less expensive 4 star with many services outside of town with good connections. The hotel restaurants are well within the parameters of what you would pay elsewhere. You can get marginally cheaper breakfast elsewhere. For the informed traveller this is a good choice.
“Transfer to and from airport was a nightmare”
Shuttle to and from the airport does not have sufficient capacity to support demand, buses were too small and service was poor.
“Great Bargain and Free Shuttle from/to Airport”
Expedia's rate was very low. The shuttle from and to the airport was great, and on schedule.
“Think twice!”
Totally impersonal hotel in the middle of nowhere! Huge and cold, to say the least. If you want to go downtown Madrid the cheap way, you need to catch a bus and then the metro! It takes forever! Otherwise, you HAVE to get a cab both ways. And you're far from downtown. There are no metro stations nearby; there is nothing nearby, to be precise, and it looks more like a hotel in the middle of an undefined wasteland. The hotel takes advantage of the fact nothing is near it, and for this reason they charge astronomical sums for any kind of food or beverage. Basically, a rip-off! They do offer shuttle service to the airport for free and the hotel room was clean and relatively silent. Buy I can't recommend this hotel; wouldn't stay there again.
“LUXURIOUS AND CONVENIENT FOR AIR TRAVELLERS”
This is an enormous hotel with all the facilities and services one can ask for. Extremely convenient if one is flying through Madrid as it is close to the airport and it has an efficient shuttle service. It is far from the city, but it has another shuttle that takes residents where connections with public transportation can be made. If you are on a budget, be aware that the room may be inexpensive but the restaurant and bars are not. As it is fairly isolated, you might want to go to the city via shuttle, or take a cab to the close mall called Plenilunio for your meals.
“Not impressed.”
This hotel is not centrally located.
“Good for a conveniant overnight by the airport”

“Worst hotel I experienced”
Hotel Auditorium Madrid was the worst hotel experience I had. When I booked online, I booked a room -- with breakfast included. When I checked in, I was told the breakfast was not included. I showed the staff the email confirmation I had which spelt this out explicitly. He said, I had to make another special request if I were to get the breakfast. I said I thought this was a dishonest measure to attract customers online but not delivering as promised. The other main question was, I chose this hotel because it was right next to the airport and I had an early flight to catch. I checked with the counter if I should sign up for the airport free shuttle bus the next morning, and I was told there was no need, as there would not be many people. The next morning, it turned out that many people could not get on the shuttle bus, and when we took a taxi parked in the hotel compound, the taxi driver went on a long detour which took 20 minutes, and charged me a huge amount, whereas the airport is just less than 1 km away, right opposite the hotel. I suspect the hotel is fully aware of such cheats. This was a most unpleasant experience I had with any hotel in any city. Also, the staff were not responsive to questions.
