“nice hotel but far away”

Friendly and helpful staff, nice fairly new hotel, big comfy bed, verrry small shower, uncomfortable to use, door is all glass and doesn´t close so bathroom has little privacy, Metro 10 minutes walking distance, and madrid´s Metro is great, organized and easy to understand....but the hotel is very far away from all the major sights , museums, it is just close to airport and Santiago Bernabeu. If you go out at night past metro hours of service, a taxi will charge you about 30 euros. The area is nice and safe. Loved Madrid! Would probably stay at a hotel closer to Gran Via, Sol or Plaza España.

Area recommendations

All the area around Museo del Prado and Gran Via is beautiful and close to major sights

Nightlife

At night the best area is Sol to go on tapas and then dancing . We went to Kapital a seven story discoteque, very classy , great music, different environments, safe and friendly, located on Atocha. You can walk from Plaza España and can do shopping, sightseeing, tapas, and party.

“Super impressed”

There was no problem with check in. Everybody was so nice and even helped us to take our bags to our room.

When to go

Go in january- february. It's a crazy sale all over europe.. it's like having black friday for one moth

Getting around

Go to plaza del sol, it's really pretty.. and if you are lucky enough and see a place called "Cerveceria los 100 montaditos" go in an try some of traditional spain cuisine.

“recommended hotel”

the hotel is nice and clean, the staffs are very helpful. there is free hotel shuttle bus between airport and hotel. it is very convenient if you go to the airport. there are some restaurants very near to the hotel. the location of hotel is a bit far way from the centre Madrid, 10 mins walk to the nearest Metro station. overall, it is good hotel and recommended.

“Hi Tech”

The hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful. However, the hotel was about 45 minutes from the downtown area using the Metro, and was pretty remote, although in a relatively safe area.

“OK but way out in the suburbs”

Not a bad hotel, but it is at least an hour on the metro outside the centre. Fine if you are on business nearby, but otherwise there is very little in terms of restaurants and things to do.

“High Tech Nueva Castellana: opción familiar para fines de semana”

Hotel correcto en una zona empresarial a las afueras de Madrid. El mantenimiento de las habitaciones es mejorable (defectos en grifos, extractor, etc). Lo mejor es que ofrece habitaciones para cuatro o cinco personas, lo que se agradece viajando con niños pequeños, aunque resultan un tanto pequeñas.

no volveria a hospedarme en este hotel, queda muy lejos del centro de madrid. Por el precio se puede conseguir un mejor hotel en el centro ... El servicio es muy regular y los taxis al eropuerto son muy caros .

“pulito moderno e confortevole”

l'hotel è bellissimo, la stanza è accessoriata con tutto e sempre pulita perfettamente, il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile. non proprio vicina la fermata della metro ma raggiungibile tranquillamente in 5 min a piedi. a completare dalle 6 alle 24 ogni 15min c'è una navetta gratuita che ti porta dall'aereoporto all'hotel e viceversa. consigliato++
